"Henry, answer me this.  If your daughter came to you 20-30 years from now and said, dad, I was sexually assaulted in high school at a party, but I didn't think anyone would believe me so I've kept silent all these years.  But I've been to therapy, and I can finally come to terms with what has happened and tell my story.  Would you believe her?  Or, in your words, is it BS?"  What if it were your daughter in place of Ms. Ford?   

Abbey, if it was MY daughter, I would believe her.  I know my daughter. I think it would be HORRIBLE and like any father, I would be outraged at this person who hurt her.

BUT!!... that isn't the issue here.  We have a woman, who so far doesn't have anything to support her claims.  In MY OPINION...This doesn't have anything to do with Ford.  It has EVERYTHING to with OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE.  I don't see anyone getting upset with Senator Keith Ellison, whose girlfriend says she is abused by him.....It is clearly a double standard.... I think that we now live in a country that there are two systems of laws, and if you're on one side you're untouchable, but if you're on the wrong side then clearly you're a rapist who shouldn't be nominated to the Supreme Court!!

I think we are headed towards troubled times when our whole system can be disrupted by an ACCUSATION!  IF that is all it takes, and 'accusation'....to keep someone from achieving something......that is bad.


Abbey, don't you find it strange that she is waiting until NOW to make this claim?   Maybe she is telling the truth, but maybe she isn't!  We are taking about ruining a man's career and putting his family through all sorts of hell if she is lying.  If she had some reasonable evidence to back up her claim, then that is a different story....but we cannot allow someone's "accusation" be the judge, jury and executioner!


Kavanaugh has been vetted by the FBI several times now........and he always comes out clean.


You may not like him for whatever reasons you may have, but he has an impeccable record as a judge and is clearly qualified for the position.


The sad thing to me is, there is really women out there who have legitimate cases out there......but I'm telling you the democrat party can care less about Ford!  If they did, Feinstien would have brought this issue up when they were going through the hearings.........but, when he passed with flying colors, they pulled out this Ford case.....and I along with many others, think its BUNK!


This is only setting the precedent for future nominees and really anything of importance.....if you don't like someone, make an accusation!! It doesn't have to be truthful.......just make the accusation and it's all over.  Where does it stop!!!!

However it goes, this entire fiasco could have been avoided if the FBI had been allowed to investigate THIS ALLEGATION. If other witnesses had been required to testify UNDER OATH.

Maybe if Feinstien would have given to the FBI in July when Ford gave her the letter stating her accusation.......it would have been done.  Why did Feinstien wait until two days before the vote was to take place to bring this out?     I think I know why, to force a delay and play politics.  She is a crook and doing everything she can, along with many other democrat leaders to demonize a good man, because they lost the election.

Wrong, it was 10 months...and it was only 7 months before a Presidential election....a little bit different story. 

On Sept 19, she was asked "why wasn't the FBI told about the allegation until last week" (That would be Sept 12).

Feinstein said she was trying to protect Ford's identity. "I was asked to hold it confidential and I did as long as I thought it was wise, and then I referred it to the FBI," she told reporters.


She had it for 3 months!  If she really cared about Ms Ford like she "claims", then she would have reacted sooner........again, this nothing more than politics at it's finest.  It is all about the timing!

"Ruining a man's career and putting his family through all sorts of hell..."  What about her?  What do you think this has done to her?  She's received DEATH THREATS! Why would she lie about this knowing her life would be turned upside down?  And the worst thing is that assault will live with her for the rest of her life.  He moves on, no big deal to him, but for her, it will pop up unexpectedly and she will feel almost like she did when it was happening to her.  I know this for fact; I live with this happening to me.  I can only watch/listen to so much when it comes to sexual assaults and then I need to get away from all of it before it affects me too much.  The whole #metoo? Had to be careful on FB because it was so prevalent and I would be torn up emotionally, sobbing uncontrollably.  Not a pretty sight.  So, let me give kudos to my boyfriend again who tries to understand what I've been through, (but seriously, how can he? But he tries and that's all that matters) and still loves me through it all.
