While in Alabama doing a story on the upcoming special election, reporters became aware of long-standing rumors about Moore and his pursuit of underage girls.  The girls who appeared in the original story did not come forth on their own but were pursued by the WP's reporters once the latter were able to establish their identities.  None of the original 4 knew each other yet their stories are nearly identical about how Moore pursued them and were corroborated by dozens of witnesses.  If the statute of limitations had not long since passed, there was enough probable cause for Moore to have been arrested and charged.

This begs a couple of questions:

First, has the Republican party sunk so low in its depravity that it is willing to send a probable child molester to D.C. rather than lose a vote in the Senate?

Finally, would you leave your teenage daughter alone with someone "accused" of the same offenses Moore has given the same evidence?

If you answer yes to the first question, you've said all that needs to be said about who the Republican party are and what they really stand for.  If you answer yes to the second, you suck as a parent and should probably reconsider your priorities in life.

I wasn't talking about Moore....and he wasn't my pick for that election.  I don't know if he is guilty or or not....I know it happened 40 years ago and somehow a month before the election is became prevalent.


If there is proof that he is indeed guilty of "child molestation" then he should be locked up.
