And once again, the man with a cat for a hat uses a racially coded word to slander a political opponent; only this time he does it at a ceremony held to honor the Code Talkers from WW II. . .

This man is nothing but a juvenile delinquent and he holds the reins of power in this nation. Unacceptable. Totally unacceptable.

Barrack Obama has more class in the tip of a strand of hair than this jackass possesses in his entire body. . .

Pocahontas? Really?!

He's just diverting attention from his tax bill that will reach into blue collar workers pockets with both hands if passed.

Oh please, she lied about her heratige for political gain. What's racist in what he said anyway?

Me, suggest you take the time to read about why the Code Talkers from WW 2 are honored. Then maybe you will understand why the President of the United States is considered such a narcissistic dolt.

I know what they did and why they deserved to be honored but that remark by Trump wasn't racist in the least except in the minds of the butthurt libs.

It is the very definition of racism.

She was totally wrong to present herself as something she wasn't for monetary gain and deserves to be made fun of. I do believe she could also be accused of being racist since her intent was malicious and an in your face thing to those of true indian heratige.

She claimed that she understood from what her family told her that she was 1/32 Cherokee and unless you can definitively prove she isn't, you should probably just STFU.

Okay, I had a couple of minutes and did a quick research....

a 1997 Fordham Law Review piece described her as Harvard Law School's "first woman of color," based, according to the notes at the bottom of the story, on a "telephone interview with Michael Chmura, News Director, Harvard Law (Aug. 6, 1996)."

The mention was in the middle of a lengthy and heavily-annotated Fordham piece on diversity and affirmative action and women. The title of the piece, by Laura Padilla, was "Intersectionality and positionality: Situating women of color in the affirmative action dialogue."

"There are few women of color who hold important positions in the academy, Fortune 500 companies, or other prominent fields or industries," the piece says. "This is not inconsequential. Diversifying these arenas, in part by adding qualified women of color to their ranks, remains important for many reaons. For one, there are scant women of color as role models. In my three years at Stanford Law School, there were no professors who were women of color.
Harvard Law School hired its first woman of color, Elizabeth Warren, in 1995."

So, the nickname Pocahontas was born.........Say what you will, she was being a typical "politician" and trying to back step her way out of something she got caught up in.

The way I CLEARLY see it, those who HATE President Trump will say he was being 'racist' by using the word Pocahontas in front of some Indians that he was PRAISING and HONORING.

Those who like the President, will see it exactly as it was meant to be, a JOKE, with no harmful slant at a POS POLITICIAN.

Personally, I wish Mr President, would QUIT creating situations like this............because of the media talking about the Tax Reform Bill, they spent all of their time whining about his comment......which is so freaking insignificant with real issues that needs addressed.

You'd best worry about his mental instability and childish behavior creating a far worse situation than some kerfuffle over racism.

I'm not worried, rather I'm optimistic for the first time in years about our economy.

 She has been quite open about growing up very poor. And, I'd say the government stipend was, in her case, very well spent!

I know that, but TRUMP is the reason WHY our economy is thriving and will continue to thrive....I'm not losing any sleep over his tweets.
I'm also not worried we will go to war, or if we do, it will be handled the way it should be...
I'm not worried period....as I said....I'm optimistic....BECAUSE of Trump.
