I am going to shock some of you....but.....I NOW, totally agree with the title of this thread!!

The republican party DOES indeed suck!  I know I was earlier bitching about the dem party and the "SUPER DELEGATES!"....Now, it seems as if Colorado has NOW just decided to give its delegates to Ted Cruz, without holding an election.  So, if you are able to pay enough money or give enough promises to a delegate, you can just GET THEIR pledged support.

Also, the GOP is going to meet soon to "MAKE" the rules on this years Convention.  Now maybe it's me, but shouldn't the rules be made BEFORE the election season stated?  This is like changing the rules in the World Series in game four, declaring the winner of the team who the Commissioner has decided would be the best WINNER for MLB.

THIS is exactly why Trump is gaining supporters on a daily basis. I for one am SICK and TIRED of Bought and Paid for Politicians, who are Lobbyists to run our country.

Is this where I say, "I told you so"?

And as I've mentioned before, Trump is one of the people buying and paying for politicians which makes him part of the problem, not the solution.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Yes, Trump, as a businessman, greased the palms of many to get work done.  NOW, he is running for POTUS, he understands this, and KNOWS how to fix it.  He has been on both sides.  That is why I think HE is the only one that CAN fix many of these problems.
Cruz, Hillary and even Bernie to some extent, is bought and paid for. They have had their hands greased.  Trump hasn't.

YES, I will take it on the chin.......the republicans SUCK!  (Even though I think they may suck LESS than the Dems...)

But they do INDEED SUCK!

Sick of all of em.

Mark my words.  Depending on what happens with this brokered convention, if there indeed is one, you can almost guarantee an independent run by one of those three remaining people.  That's especially true if the nominee is not Trump.

I think you may be right.

Wow!  I am starting to agree with you guys tooooo much....I can taste my own bile in the back of my mouth.... :spooked: :o

I think our politicians on both sides are crooked as hell..........with super delegates and changing the rules.  It really should be simple as each State votes.  Who ever has the most from that state, will be the nominee for that state.  Once a nominee has the most states.....He/She will be the nominee for that party.

Simple really.

Yeah, but the party elites prefer the other way for one big reason - money.

Influence is also up there as well.

The problem is - as I think we've discussed around here before - it that people have a very low opinion of politicians, especially those in Congress.  Yet they keep getting sent back, almost en masse.  Folks tend to view other people's representatives as the problem and not their own.

You are correct, and I think that seems obvious, but I am beginning to think there is MORE to this...especially this political season.  Again another reason as to why I am in favor of a Trump or EVEN a Bernie.  Those two are not being controlled by the so-called "establishment"...

Anyone want to bet that :sneaky: Paul Ryan doesn't try to steal the nomination from Trump and Cruise. :sneaky:  :sneaky:  :haha:   And does anyone want to bet that will cause a war within the Republican Party which will seal their defeat this November.  :haha:    :zoners:

Locutus

I've always thought most of the establishment Republicans would prefer Ryan over Cruz any day of the week.

You shoulda' taken the bet.

Paul Ryan: "Count me out!"

;D

I don't believe a damned word ANY politician utters. Ryan will step up to the podium and accept the will of his chosen party if they wail his name loud enough and long enough. . .  He ain't fooling' me one bit. . .  :roll eyes:

And Trump will run on as an independent if he doesn't get the nomination. . .  :roll eyes:  (Thereby splitting the vote and assuring a democratic win)  :icon_twisted:
