I think Ted is indicating that relationship CAN happen, but he first wants the WH to demonstrate that they have made some progress in alleviating the misery of the people of Cuba....even fellow democrat Menendez is cautious of Obama's motives by stating..."democracy and human rights take a back seat to a legacy initiative.".....Ted is at the least of Cuban dissent, he understands the history involved....so it is not like he doesn't have a desire to see the best for that country, but better than than he wants what is BEST for out country.

I'm not ready to jump on the Cruz bandwagon for POTUS, but I don't think he is an idiot by any fashion....and to compare him to McCarthy, well, I don't see that.

The bigger picture I think Cruz is making is that to relocate the embassy to Jerusalem, which is a much bigger issue than Cuba at this time of day....

3)  You can't prove the ACHA hasn't helped Americans, in fact, the exact opposite is true.

4)  When did he say he was going to make the world a 'safer' place?  How would he do that?  According to you RW zealot warmongers, that would be by instigating even MORE violence. 

5)  The RW promotes Laissez Faire policies that will never create a strong economy - only a return to a two tiered society of the haves and the have nots.  That's neither a sound economic policy nor an egalitarian one.
