Yeah, it always seems to me that it's the real 'prevates' - - who are pushing their 'moral' indignation onto society and into law.

For all their self proclaimed "Christian Morality" they sure are good at validating that they are nothing if not first-class hypocrites!

That water over the dam.  Why did George W. Bush invade Iraq and kill over 4500 of our soldiers and wound over 40,000 of them and spend over 2 Trillion dollars on on the war.  Why Birdy?

because he, along with many democrats believed he was indeed a threat and needed to be stopped....

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
    Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998.

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
    Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force — if necessary — to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
    Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002.

and before you go on about any LIES that YOU GUYS claim that Bush did to start the war.......Bob Woodward did EXTENSIVE investigation to find that the Iraq War was a mistake, but "there was no lying in this that I could find."

read this: http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/peter-roff/2015/05/26/bob-woodward-bush-didnt-lie-to-start-iraq-war

This whole thing is nothing but a smear tactic on Bush because he was highly liked after the 9/11 attack.......they had to turn the tables or the dem party was through.......this is simply a mater of fact.  Like it or not.

The Office of Special Plans

That STILL doesn't me squat when you look at what Albright, Clinton and other were saying BEFORE Bush even took office.....there was plenty of evidence, according to them, of WMD's and the threat by Saddam.

The fact is, THEY knew he was a threat........then after Bush had the balls to do something, they threw him under the bus....for political gain.

As has been pointed out to you probably a million times before, the Democrats only had a filibuster proof majority in Congress for 14 days.  During that time, they passed the ACA and your dimwits have been trying to dismantle that ever since!

The attack that was only possible because he ignored the warnings given to him months before?

They did not invade Iraq.

Only because (1) they ran out of time...this was months before Bush took office...or (2) they lacked the courage to go after Saddam.

I'm not saying Bush didn't make a mistake...I think he did.  Attacking Iraq was a good thing.......going to war with them was not.  Shock and Awe was were we should have drawn the line...imo
