Who opted to have Joni Ernst post remarks? She's a bobble-head. Everything she's saying is irrelevant to the facts.

Yeah, I didn't care much for her either.  She talks like she is speaking to some kids. She gave me the creeps. Give me Ben Carson, that guy can speak, and tells it like it is.

I met and talked at length with Ben Carson a few years back when he was still just a surgeon at Johns Hopkins. The guy has a major 'God Complex' and this is not just my opinion. Ask anyone who worked with him at Hopkins.

What Politician doesn't?  In my opinion, Obama has a bad case of it too.

I don't think you understood. He wasn't a politician when I met him. And if you talk to other people in the profession, a God Complex is the worst thing you can deal with in a surgeon. I simply don't trust him. And neither did the people who worked with him.

THAT is a very BOLD statement, to say that.  Is this just YOUR opinion?  Or have you talked to people who worked for him, who said they didn't trust him.

I do know for a FACT, that Carson has received more than 50 honorary doctorate degrees and is a member of the Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Horatio Alger Society of Distinguished Americans and sits on the boards of numerous business and education boards.

CNN and Time magazine named Ben Carson as one of the nation's 20 foremost physicians and scientists. In that same year, the Library of Congress selected him as one of 89 "Living Legends." In 2006, he received the Spingarn Medal, the highest honor bestowed by the NAACP.

It is NOT just my opinion! And YES!!!! I HAVE talked to several people at Hopkins. Over the past 15 years I have attended many social gatherings involving Hopkins doctors and nurses. Whenever his name is mentioned in conversation, the distrust is almost unanimous - especially among nurses! They REALLY don't like him there.

Those awards were not given to him by people who worked with him and know him well.

Now when "ME" says something like this, what do YOU say?

I also know, many nurses, who in general, HATE Dr's.

Sorry, if I don't take your 'opinion' to heart.

This isn't anecdotal evidence. I didn't just read it in junk mail. And I didn't say JUST nurses!

To me, it sounded like she was campaigning rather than rebutting the speech. Which immediately threw up red flags for me. 1) she already won her election  and 2) it implied that she wasn't intellectually capable of rebutting it.

Uh, excuse me but most of the things I used you claimed to be anecdotal came from people, people who had experienced what was being talked about or knew a great deal about it not emails or jokes.  As a matter of fact I have some close friends who own a medical related business who know what the HCB is all about and know it sucks, they are dealing with it daily.  I also have relatives who are college professors, in the medical field, and who own large businesses so if my evidence is anecdotal so is yours.

Why waste time talking about Ben Carson?  No black person will get the Republican nomination...isn't going to happen, period.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

And if he does I'm sure there will be plenty of "non racist" remarks made about him by the libs because they aren't racist and their remarks, even though they are attacking the person and not disagreeing with an issue, are because the person deserves them for trying to act white. You know, like the remarks which have already been made about him. Then there are the remarks about Condi and others who were in the Bush administration or are conservatives or Tea Party members.
