The Troll

The question is

Will Ted Cruz shut down the government?

  My answer is

I hope to hell he does.

Well. . . here we go again. . .

Washington (CNN) -- Congress is once again right on the brink of a government shutdown.
Just two days before the government runs out of money, negotiations on a spending bill are stalled over unrelated issues. Many frustrated lawmakers tell CNN they are still waiting to see the final details of the bill, and some are fed up that that Congress is potentially coming close to another crisis. . .

. . .A bill that would fund most of the government for a full fiscal year was expected to be released at the beginning of the week. By Tuesday evening, that hadn't happened as lawmakers haggle over everything from immigration to terrorism risk insurance. The squabbling is raising the chances that Congress will have to approve a short-term bill on Thursday to keep the government open for just a few days and give lawmakers a little more time to finalize a deal. . . .

As normal, much-ado-about nothing.....we go through this same shit every year.............and here we are.

Politicians suck!  Both Democrat and Republican.  I know, the vast majority of the republicans will cave on everything and it will be the same ol' norm bullshit, just a slightly different flavor...but will have the same f'ing results.

Well ... the bill passed, but the a$$hole repubs sneaked in a provision reversing the vote of the citizens of D.C. to legalize pot!

So, you expect the POTUS to compromise but if your guys do it they're 'caving'?

You seriously don't have an issue with Congress disregarding the will of the voters?

The Senate can always put it back in or Reid can refuse to bring the bill up for a vote if he doesn't like what the House did.

What a dumba$$!!!

Do you honestly think the Senate will shut down the government over this? And why did the House choose to ignore the will of the local voters anyway?
