The sad thing is that he's right for the most part, and you know it. (Or you would if you'd just stop and think.)

Strike that.

You really don't want to think, do you.

How else can anyone explain your abject silence about the Sandy relief bill?

King from New York (one of your republicans) is just beside himself about this, as he has every right to be.

His fellow repuglicans screwed him and all the victims of Sandy ROYALLY.

I always thought that a person couldn't live without a brain.  "ME" proves me wrong.   "ME"  The dancing hog. :pigdance:           :haha:

And......you'd still be bitchin' so what's the difference?

When you lost the point, give it up.

You drag out your ignorance and just make people laugh.

Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

Here are Governor Chris Christie's remarks on the majority party in the House.  Take note of this, because it's probably the only time I'll give props to Chris Christie.  He's pretty much on target with his remarks.

And somewhere on here I predicted that would be exactly what would happen too. It is the republican game plan and their go to strategy; just say NO! (Even when it hurts them).

They have held the least amongst us hostage to their political ideals for over 4 years now, and going into year 5 they are doing it again right out of the gate.

The problem is they have now slit the throats of their east coast brethren and THAT is going to cost them the 2014 elections.

These scumbags need to be fired, and they need to have their pensions removed as well as their healthcare when they get the axe!

And right here within this very topic is where I said this would be exactly what would happen!

Well, here we go. . .

. . .Sandy has flooded thousands of homes in its devastating path, and estimates are that damages will be in the billions of dollars. FEMA, which runs the federal flood insurance program, has to pick up the tab.
But FEMA already owes $18 billion to the Treasury Department, thanks to Hurricane Katrina. Currently, insurance experts say FEMA's flood insurance program has access to funds totaling $3.8 billion, much of it in loans.
If flood claims exhaust the fund, Congress may have to step in with additional taxpayer money. That will add to the already bloated national deficit, and anger fiscally-conservative members of Congress.
Private insurers don't cover flooding. Sandy's storm surge pushed water from the Atlantic Ocean into basements and first floors in coastal Virginia, New Jersey, Connecticut and New York, where subway tunnels remain flooded. . .

Anybody want to guess what is coming?   (The word "NO" comes to mind)

They set a precedent when they let those folks in the midwest swing after the tornado outbreaks and FEMA had no money; holding them hostage to their political ideals. (SOP for the repugnicans).

From what I heard last night was that Boehner has said that they will get their bill and the funds to Sandy victimis in less than 2-weeks........they said no because it was loaded with pork spending that had NOTHING to do with Sandy or its victims. Blame the DEMS for taking advantage of this situation by trying to sneak in personal Pork....SOMEBODY must start being MORE frugal with our taxpayers dollars.

When the dems passed that bill they knew damn well what was going to happen and sure enough it did.  Boehner fell for their trap and stood his ground.  He should have let it pass and explained it was against his better judgement because of the pork included and let the chips fall where they may.  He could have also taken the pork spending out, passed the bill and put it back on the dems who, I believe, had already left town.
