Not so sure that is funny when you consider the ramifications of their actions. Why did they reject it? Because it included tax increases and not cuts.

So, as I said way back when they passed this piece of BS legislation, we are gong over the cliff!

Oh, It's not funny!  When you look at how stupid the Republican Party has become you can't help but laugh.     But when you look at the damage the Republican Party has done to America in the last 30 years.  It a crying shame.   :'( :'( :'(

How long will the smarter Americans put up with such a dysfunctional group of idiots.     They are trying to destroy everything this country was founded for.

What would Jesus think of the born again Christians who is trying to destroy America for their own selfish reasons.

Well if we go over the cliff, I think the Republican brand is going to take yet another hit.  And they have the Tea Party idiots squarely to thank for it.

Now I know HH is going to probably say that Obama is going to take a hit, but the polling doesn't bear that out at all.

Raising taxes on all 98% of American people and taking unemployment pay from millions of American people.

Now here is a greedy and selfish company, it is the Darden Restaurant corporation.  Owners of Red Lobster and Olive Garden.  Places where I use to eat at.

Darden wanted to get out of Obama Care for their employees.     They cut the hours of their employees so they would not qualify for health insurance.     The public got hold of this information and Darden profits went down 37%, I want to go down more.  :haha: :haha:

75% of Red Lobster and Olive Garden employees are minimum wage with tips of $2.13 per hour.  A wage set by the government in 1991.   Darden has lobbied against raising that wage for years.

But now get this, the CEO has had a raise of 23% on his wage for years.  Raising his salary to $8,500,000 a year ($8.5 Million), more than 539 times more than 75% of what his workers make.     God bless the son of a bitch, for I can't and won't.

I will never eat in Red Lobster or Olive Garden again.

That what is wrong you big Red, you don't want change when it comes to giving the hard working poor a break.  Let's raise their wages, let's make their days happier.

Let's make the people who are willing to work at these hard jobs, get 40 hours a week at a fair wage so they can have it ALMOST AS GOOD AS YOU.  NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE.

What gets me about these Tea Party asshats  (who are all telling their Congressional delegations to take us over the cliff instead of increasing taxes on anyone) is that they seem to lose the point that if nothing is done, taxes are going to go up on everyone, including them.

Obama said he wouldn't sign anything that limited spending so what good do you think it would do to raise taxes on the 1%'ers and just keep spending like mad?  None, so your taxes would go up anyway.  Of course there's always that let the Bush tax cuts expire then Obama can introduce a tax cut that he will get credit for, well legitimate credit.

Obama has brought compromise to the table, as has Boehner.   It's the Tea Party assholes that are stopping a deal.   Compromise is anathema to them.   You know it, and I know it, regardless of whether you're willing to admit it or not.

Spinning. What the POTUS said was that he would not sign anything that did not include an increase of taxation, first of those making 250k and above, then those making 400k and above; an it included 2 trillion in cuts to spending.

Read a little truth before you form an opinion why don't you?

The Tea Party has to go en masse in 2014.

Yes they do!

. . .The GOP revulsion over any kind of tax rate increase has stymied deficit negotiations for two years and led to unusual political drama, such as McConnell recently filibustering his own proposal and Thursday night's rebuff by House Republicans of an alternative tax plan pushed by Boehner, their leader. . .

They cannot even agree amongst each other!
