Not so sure that is funny when you consider the ramifications of their actions. Why did they reject it? Because it included tax increases and not cuts.

So, as I said way back when they passed this piece of BS legislation, we are gong over the cliff! 

  Oh, It's not funny!  When you look at how stupid the Republican Party has become you can't help but laugh.     But when you look at the damage the Republican Party has done to America in the last 30 years.  It a crying shame.

  Now here is a greedy and selfish company, it is the Darden Restaurant corporation.  Owners of Red Lobster and Olive Garden.  Places where I use to eat at.   

  Darden wanted to get out of Obama Care for their employees.     They cut the hours of their employees so they would not qualify for health insurance.     The public got hold of this information and Darden profits went down 37%, I want to go down more. 

  75% of Red Lobster and Olive Garden employees are minimum wage with tips of $2.13 per hour.  A wage set by the government in 1991.   Darden has lobbied against raising that wage for years.   

  But now get this, the CEO has had a raise of 23% on his wage for years.  Raising his salary to $8,500,000 a year ($8.5 Million), more than 539 times more than 75% of what his workers make.     God bless the son of a bitch, for I can't and won't.

  That what is wrong you big Red, you don't want change when it comes to giving the hard working poor a break.  Let's raise their wages, let's make their days happier.

Obama said he wouldn't sign anything that limited spending so what good do you think it would do to raise taxes on the 1%'ers and just keep spending like mad?  None, so your taxes would go up anyway.  Of course there's always that let the Bush tax cuts expire then Obama can introduce a tax cut that he will get credit for, well legitimate credit.

Spinning. What the POTUS said was that he would not sign anything that did not include an increase of taxation, first of those making 250k and above, then those making 400k and above; an it included 2 trillion in cuts to spending.
