I heard something interesting on the radio this morning.

When George W. Bush took office, the unemployment rate was 4.2%. When he left it was 8.3%.

and the republicans lost office

Well then ... I guess that's a good sign for Obama. At least unemployment has gone down during his first term.

Unemployment rate rises to 7.9 per cent – HIGHER than when Obama took office......Unemployment rate was 7.8 per cent on inauguration day in 2009.

Just before Obama took office we were hemorrhaging jobs. Rising unemployment was on a nearly unstoppable trajectory like a rocket. It was stopped but rockets can't exactly stop on a dime. It reached a 10% rate that was unequivocally attached to the Bush administration.

So it HAS gone down.

Unlike the Bush years, when it nearly DOUBLED.

FACT!

FACT is unemployment is higher NOW than when he took office.....that is a fact.

FACT - The president said shortly after that if he failed to revive the economy in three years he would be looking at a 'one-term proposition'

FACT - Obama projected that the economic stimulus plan would create 3 to 4 million jobs by the end of 2010...it didn't.

You wouldn't know a fact if it hit you in the face.

"FACT - Obama projected that the economic stimulus plan would create 3 to 4 million jobs by the end of 2010...it didn't."

What he said was "create or SAVE jobs" ... it DID.

"FACT - The president said shortly after that if he failed to revive the economy in three years he would be looking at a 'one-term proposition'"

He HAS revived the economy.

He said that AFTER he gave his speech, selling his stimulus........then he later said it would "likely" save or create 3 million to 4 million jobs.....He LIED to Americans to get his stimulus.

When a doctor says a treatment will "likely" save someone's life.......and that person dies.........did the doctor lie?

Wow.

There are lots of conditions where "likely" is the honest answer because a 100% certainty is not possible to predict.

I do not share your optimism of most human endeavors.

I have seen the effects of random chance far too often when conducting experiments.
