Really?!

You're still pushing that tripe?
You brought it up I didn't.  How many things can you buy that are actually made in the US now?  Some things may be assembled here but most everything is either made in or has parts made in another country.

Sweet Poo, if the parts are made overseas, they sure don't assembled them here in America.

. . .Moody's said Tuesday it would likely strip the United States of its sterling AAA rating if lawmakers fail to produce a long-term debt reduction plan next year.

But if negotiations go well, the rating agency said, it would probably affirm the country's AAA rating and change its outlook to "stable" from "negative." A negative outlook suggests the rating could be downgraded over the medium term.. . .

Yup. Here we go again, and as I said when they made this deal to raise the debt ceiling back then, conservative repugnicans and their political posturing will cost this nation yet another downgrade to its credit rating. . .

and I say BULLSHIT, right back at ya.  Both sides has plenty of blood on them....but the never ending entitlement mentality and corrupt spending has been going on for WAY too long.  We need leadership from the WH to get things done to SAVE this nation.  Had we agreed to the democrat nonsense of spending our way out of this mess, we would be in much worse shape.

We are coming to the "Monetary Cliff"  I hope the Democrats stand their ground on raising taxes on the rich and let the Republicans drive us over the "Monetary Cliff".  We got them by the short hairs.  :haha:  How sweet it is, after all of the stalling, filerbusters and the "our main job is to see that Obama is a one term president.

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- At least 289 people were killed in a fire that swept through a garment factory overnight in the Pakistani port city of Karachi, a local official said Wednesday.
The toll from the fire, which continued to burn Wednesday, is expected to rise, Commissioner Roshan Ali Shaikh, Karachi's top administrative official, said in a phone interview with CNN affiliate Geo TV.
A child is among the dead, and at least 25 people have been injured, said Zakir Khan of the Karachi Fire Department. All the victims were employees of the factory, he said. . . .

The fact that this doesn't happen in the US is brought to you by unions and governmental regulation. The fact this factory existed in Pakistan at all is brought to you by the loopholes created by conservative government's ill-placed trust in corporations to "do the right thing".

I am NOT bullshitting myself, in any way, shape or form Palehorse.  The democrats are infamous for spending money we don't have.....the "tea party" republicans was sent to washington, to STOP spending.  You may not agree that we should stop spending, but that is the extent of it.  There are NO other facts that are prevalent.  It is MY opinion, that if Obama had any ability to negotiate or sincerely had a desire to work with the "other side" as he campaigned on, he failed.  The first thing that came out of his mouth was telling the republicans to "get out of the way so we can clean up the mess"... "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,"

HE set the tone right off the bat, then whined when the republicans did not go along with ANY thing he wanted.

Those are the FACTS.

When Obama took office, the economy was shrinking at roughly 8% annually. For most of Obama's term, it's been growing, as the chart here shows. In absolute terms, the economy is now $853 billion larger than it was before Obama was inaugurated. So, yes, we're better off.

The neocons must really hate facts.
