I like him too, he is direct and tells it like it is.  He may have a shot at it one of these days.

Yes, he might...if his fat ass doesn't keel over dead from a heart attack first.  I love how he mentioned that the GI bill, which Republicans see as an entitlement program that should be ended, helped his family succeed.

They did not want to end it they didn't want to expand it and a lot of Republican's did vote for it.

You might want to do a little more research.  McCain adamantly opposed the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2007 and Bush threatened to veto it.

Republicans believe that the GI Bill is a program that they are honestly "entitled" to, they have EARNED it.

  :blah:  :blah:  :blah:  Christ Christie speech was nothing.  He said in his speech " I " 35 times and Mitt Romney's name 9 times.  Sure sounds like he want to run for office in 2016  :haha:  :haha:  He's going to have a stomach clamp or bypass before he does that.  He just a big fat ass blow hard who writes checks his ass can't cash.  If you could keep from having him fall on you, a little old lady could clean his clock.  :haha:

  Another thing, did you see that George W wasn't mention one time.  You didn't see Sarah Palin, Michell Bachman, Ron Paul speaking or "ME" favorite candidate Herman Cain was missing from the stage.  :biggrin:

  I got to say this new Republican Party's candidates Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan has to be the worse Republican candidates since Herbert Hoover.  If you want the finest group of people to set back and destroy America this is the bunch.  Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and John Bohner.

  The Republican/Tea Party has been boughten by the Millionaires, Billionaire and the Super Rich Corporations.  Republican has the best politicians money can buy.  :salute:

            Wake up America ---------------------->  :zoners:

  There is one thing the Republican won't be able to say again if Obama is reelected.  "Our main job is to see that Obama is a one term president" :haha:

Skipped right over the part where McCain and Bush were opposed to it ...

McCain was only opposed to the one Webb introduced saying it would be a disincentive for service members to become noncommissioned officers....he was STILL in favor of a GI Bill.

I guess that should really read, "color."

Sad to say that I'm not surprised by either of those incidents.  But there are some around here who have consistently denied that some of the vitriol directed at Obama has its roots in racism.  :no:
