You think that everything that (stupid) Fux News doesn't spoon feed you is propaganda.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

Newsweek tried the same smear with GHW Bush, and it backfired.....just as this one will.

Newsweek is a puke liberal POS, that is loaded with propaganda....and most Americans know better.

A spokesman for the 43rd president, who has largely stayed out of politics since leaving the White House, said he has declined an invitation to attend.

"President Bush was grateful for the invitation to the Republican National Convention," said Bush communications director Freddy Ford. "He supports Gov. Romney and wants him to succeed. President Bush is confident that Mitt Romney will be a great president. But he's still enjoying his time off the political stage and respectfully declined the invitation to go to Tampa."

George H.W. Bush, the 41st president, will also be missing when Republicans gather at the Tampa Bay Times Forum next month to formally nominate Romney. The elder Bush suffers from vascular Parkinsonism, which affects his mobility.

Several members of the Bush family, including former Florida governor Jeb Bush, have endorsed Romney.

Ex-presidents are typically invited to speak at their party's political conventions. The younger Bush has largely stayed away from political events and pronouncements and has avoided criticizing President Obama.

I can almost understand the excuse of Bush the elder. But didn't he jump out of an airplane just three years ago?

As fa as W goes, maybe he's staying out of politics for a reason .....

Well three years is a long time when you are 88 years old.  Jumping out of a plane at that age is not what I call a wimp...and that is what Newseek called HIM several years  ago....

and W, has nothing to gain, by going, he has endorsed Mitt, and is happy to stay away from politics...I admire that.

Don't presume to speak for most Americans; it annoys us.

I think most Americans would not be annoyed, and would agree that I speak very well for them....

and by the way, most Americans realize that Obama and the dems are beginning to panic, and are really letting loose with the lies and propaganda......kind of sad, really.

Yeah, that's just what people want, a spokesman who can't conjugate simple verbs.  You're delusional.

LMFAO!  Go with that!

Get out of your high chair, Hank. Where in the world did I EVER refer to him as a wimp? And what does Newsweek (I guess that's what you meant with Newseek) have to do with my question?

"W, has nothing to gain"  And that, my friend, is the root of the problem. Maybe if they PAID him? He's a former president, for goodness sakes. Has he no loyalty to the party that put him there? My guess is that they really don't want him there.

Olias, I was not accusing you of calling him a wimp, but that is what started my post.  Moreso aimed at Ex....didn't mean to get you fired up.  My opinino is, I don't think it is a big deal one way or the other if he is there or not.  I don't think it is a bad reflection upon him or Mitt.  He has serverd eight years and put in his dues....he owes nothing as far as I am concerned...I respect him, enjoying his retirement years with his wife in private.

My apologies for implying your thoughts to my thoughts.....( or something like that.. )
