  From the history of my birth, I was born December 4, 1937 in the Republican Herbert Hoover depression.  I was born in a farm house out in the country just outside of Coldwater Ohio.  In an upstairs and unheated room at my grandfather and grandmother's farm.

  Since I was the first boy born out of a long line of girls, I was something special.  When the doctor delivered me, he spanked my on the butt as they did back there in the old days.  He laid me on the cold bed.  Well, my favorite grandmother took me up and put a blanket around me.  I was loved very much.     Oh how I loved my grandmother.
