It is very apparent to anyone who cares to take a neutral view of the last 4 years, that the POTUS's statement needs no further explanation. The party of "NO" has been very public about it. . .

Abraham Lincoln himself would have had the exact same amount of success as the sitting POTUS, had he been faced with the congressional bullshit the current POTUS faces. 

Which is almost the same, but not quite as bad, as what Bush faced his last two years and why things started disintegrating.  The Dem controlled congress wouldn't do anything he wanted and fought him every step of the way and then blamed him for all the crap that was going wrong.  You know, the housing crisis he wanted to do something about and good old Barney said, "there is nothing wrong with Fanny and Freddie,"  along with several other dem congressmen.

He as cause are deficit to grow out of control there is no debate here just look at the amount compare to all the other presidents before him.Took the taxpayers money said He want it to trickle  down from the top down,but took the money of the lowest paid income earners who paid taxes and gave it to the upper crust of society vie His bail out to banks and the auto industries ,So in reality it trickle from the bottom to the top.All the policies of Bush,he said He would get rid of ,most He has kept in place.

In 2003 at hearings when the Bush administration was trying to get a regulatory panel set up for Fannie and Freddie. In 2005 or 2006 I think the Bush administration got a bill through the house for the panel that was passed along party lines but was never brought up in the house because they could not get the votes to pass it.
