Wow! The "grapes can't grow in England" poster pops in. I would think that you, of all people, would know better. Want to give me an example of your latest accusation?
Why didn't you just admit it instead of trying to turn it back on me?

What a moron!

That's an understatement.  Every time I read one of his posts I feel just a little bit dumber for the experience.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

The other day I posted a quote from someone (I don't remember who said it) "The Stone Age didn't end because we ran out of stones."

I don't think this moron got that memo.

You mean the one that tracks pretty closely to the one being drafted by Sen. Marco Rubio of my state of Florida?  That the one?

except Rubio, wants to go by the Constitution and make a law to provide for this and NOT just by passing congress and declaring a suspension of the deportation illegal aliens under the age of 31.... and allow them to have work permits.... and taking away several U.S. jobs  that over 20 million americas are looking for.

THAT is going to be the arguement.

There's nothing unconstitutional about what Obama did.  I'm not going to sit here and say it wasn't done with the upcoming election in mind, but there's nothing unconstitutional about it.

What else would you suggest he do since he's been dealing with one of the most ineffective Congresses in memory for the past two years?  We all know that's largely thanks to the ideological tea party idiots that were elected who refuse to budge on anything.  Compromise is anathema to them.  Until the mainstream Republicans stand up to them, nothing is going to get done.

Rubio's proposal, which is still being formed, would legalize the status of certain young people who are in this country illegally if they pursue higher education or the military – but would likely fall short of providing them a guaranteed route to citizenship as the Dream Act does.

^^ Nothing different there than what Obama did today.  The only reason they don't like it is because Obama did it.

Agreed. But maybe he should have tried to push this through Congress. Then when the Republicans pulled yet another obstructionist move, he could use that as a campaign issue also.

Perhaps you're right.  However, we also know that the Republican controlled Congress has made it pretty clear that they aren't going to do much of anything insofar as meaningful legislation is concerned between now and November.  I doubt it would have stood a chance to make it to a floor vote.  That would have forced all of them to go on record as being in opposition to it before November, and I doubt there's any way in hell they would have let that happen.
