I am convinced they WANT to lose the election! They screwed up this country so bad it will take a decade to get it half-way back to prosperity; and since they've spent the last 4 years saying no to everything, they know it is still going to be a long time before the sheeple start seeing any improvement! (And we ALL know they aren't going to take any credit for that crap!)

Interesting speculation.  I could see a long range plan where the Right would intentionally lose the election while moving the party even further to the right and continuing to be obstructionist in order to keep the economy down in hopes to win a 2016 election with a landslide for a reactionary government with religious tendencies.

Exactly. And it is not much of a stretch to envision this very plan as being applicable today! History shows such is not even close to being beneath political endorsement.

Sure I do...Ron Paul doesn't even get the attention of most repubs, I've have heard racist statements come right from Gingrich's mouth much in the same way I've heard misogynist statements come from Santorum's.  Romney not only admits that he strapped his dog's crate to the roof of his car and had to clean up after it when it shit itself out of fear, he put the dog back in the crate afterward!  That, my friend, is animal abuse anyway you look at it and shows a complete lack of compassion for other living creatures.
