You're "10 best states" are ranked 2, 3, two tied for 18, 4, 15, 1, 37,  8 and 45.  How are the states ranked 15, 18, 37 and 45 in the top 10?

I'm sorry, that IS confusing.

7. Minn - Democrat - No Right to work
8. Utah - Republican - Right to work
9. Iowa - Republican - Right to work
10. Nebraska - Republican - Right to work

Indiana was ranked 15th overall

CNBC is owned by General Electric...one of the most conservative corporations on earth and one that leaches tens of billions off of U.S. taxpayers every year.

That notwithstanding, if they said something with which you didn't agree, you'd accuse them of being part of the liberal mainstream media.  Either way, your rankings mean nothing as they are subjective and have no real data behind them.  Perhaps, as you say, many of those states are the most business friendly but, as I have pointed out, from a perspective of the amount of tax revenue they absorb compared with what they pay, they are mostly parasites.  I think that if you do any real research, you will find that the blue states generally pay more and ask for less while the red states are generally the recipients of the majority of the benefits.  Madison County, where you live, is a microcosmic example of this trend as it is generally a low-income, low producing county that the wealthier counties in the state support.  It is also a primarily conservative county.  Stupid, poor people lean toward conservatism while more intelligent, better educated and wealthier people have a more liberal viewpoint.  That's just the way it is.

So, just out of curiosity, do you voice these opinions in your workplace because I really don't see your views going over well with the IBEW people who do the actual work for your company and without which your compnay would be, well...not a company at all.

Talk about a snobby arrogant statement.....I know people who could buy and sell you all day and are far more educated than you who are conservatives and I also know people who can't afford a piece of paper with no education what-so-ever who are liberals so quit with that crap already and learn to converse in an adult manner.

Aw, did your little ego get bruised by the truth?  So how do you know these people who can buy and sell me all day long; do you clean their toilets?

I tried so very hard to play nice and get along.  First he does not like my source, who is even a liberal source.  Then, after I stated it was JUST an opinion based upon facts, that was provided, his reply is it means nothing.  Then he gives his insinuation that Blue states pay more taxes, and had zero proof to back it up....we are just supposed to believe him, because he lives in Zionsville and only rich, smart people live there, so THAT MUST mean his words are automatically better than anyone who lives in a lower tax based county....then has the gall, without a lick of proof to say stupid people are conservatives and smart people are liberal.....and better educated.........again with Nothing to back it up....

Had I posted something similar stating that democrats are made up of poor (blacks, white trash, and hispanics) who have poor educations, depend on welfare, food stamps and entitlements, and the democrats also have many unskilled, uneducated union folks behind them, because they will get support to keep them having jobs that over pay them, and drive out companies who can no longer compete because of them...

and Republicans are made up mostly of educated entreprenuers, doctors, blue collar workers who have plain old fashion conservative views....that's just the way it is!  Deal with ex.

And just for your curiousity, I DO voice my opinion with many of the guys....who I have a great realationship with....some very good hard working guys, who are very well trained and belong to a very good union (which I have stated many times before on here)....they also understand that it takes some very well educated men and women in the office who design build and engineer excellent work, who keeps our customers demanding our services day in and day out....that keep the IBEW busy.....

and by the way, it is almost unanimous of about 60 employees I work with in the office are solid republicans who understand how America needs to operate so that ALL Americans can be successful.

As is your typical MO, you provide half truths and when you are asked to put your "facts" in context, are summarily unable to do so.

QuoteThen he gives his insinuation that Blue states pay more taxes, and had zero proof to back it up....

Why would I waste my time providing you with essentially the same data I have previously when you have so often proven in the past that you will continue to argue your point long after it has been profoundly disproven?  I can't argue against your delusions; you need medication for that.

Quote....then has the gall, without a lick of proof to say stupid people are conservatives and smart people are liberal.....and better educated.........again with Nothing to back it up....

As luck would have it, I was looking through some old files of mine a couple of weeks ago and came across a piece of research I did shortly after the 2004 presidential election.  I don't have it with me but the gist of it was thus: based on standardized testing results, of the states which voted predominately Republican, only one had a median IQ over 99 and that one's median IQ was 100.  Conversely, of the states that voted predominately Democrat, only one had a median IQ under 100 and that one was 99.  See a trend yet?  Also of interest was that I discovered a pronounced inverse relationship between the percentage of college graduates in those states and the likelihood they would vote overwhelmingly on the conservative side.  Washington D.C. has the largest percentage of college graduated in the country and also had the largest percentage of votes for Democrats.  One of the Virginias...I don't recall which right now, had the lowest percentage of college graduates and the highest percentage of Republican voters.  These figures would seem to indicate that more intelligent, better educated voters are more likely to be liberals than conservatives.  Don't you hate it when empirical facts bite you in the ass?

You can post that if you'd like but it wouldn't be any less a lie than the other garbage you offer here.  Sorry you take such issue with being called out for your dishonesty.

Most business oriented sites list your company as having 39 full-time employees so unless you've managed to add more than half as many additional employees during a recession without anyone noticing, your exaggerating that number like you do everything else.

Here are the top 20 IQ states from the 2008 elections:

1. Massachusetts 102.4
2. New Jersey 101.4
3. Vermont 101.2
4. Minnesota 101.0
5. New Hampshire 100.9
6. Pennsylvania 100.6
7. Connecticut 100.6
8. North Dakota 100.5
9. Montana 100.3
10. South Dakota 100.3
11. Maryland 99.9
12. Wisconsin 99.7
13. Ohio 99.7
14. Kansas 99.6
15. Washington 99.6
16. Missouri 99.4
17. Maine 99.4
18. Indiana 99.3
19. Nebraska 99.2
20. Colorado 99.2

Out of these states, six, North Dakota, Montana, South Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, voted Republican.  Does 70% of the states with the highest measured intelligence voting Democrat not establish a trend that more intelligent people tend to be more liberal?

I stand corrected; it would appear that some of the listings haven't been updated in quite some time.

Unlike you, I do actual research and am willing to admit when my figures are flawed.

I see the smart people in NJ finally voted for a republican as a mayor........perhaps there IS something to your little statistic spin chart.
