Oh, see, you're talking about the 11 times he raised taxes as the president, I was still on his record of numerous tax increases as governor.  If we've moved on to his accomplishments at the national level, lets not forget funding and training Al Quaeda and the Taliban, illegal weapons sales to Iran and funding the Contras!  Such a national hero!

Exterminatior, forgive them for they not what they do.     Oh how they forget.   Conservatives!  :azz:

ARE YOU READY FOR THE INDIANA CLOWN SHOW?

Gadfly Mike Pence delivered his 1,300 signatures to run for governor.  He came with 100 supporters and 92 boxes (most empty) which is suppose to be the signatures from the 92 counties in Indiana.

All that is required is 500 signatures from each of the nine congressional districts.  The Democratic candidate delivered his signatures of 7,800 in one box.

:pop:   :food5:  Are you ready for the Republican Clown Show.  :haha:  :haha:

Yea, you're right and with all of the Democrats that are not going to run, we are really going to have a fucked up state.

It's going to be a Right Wing, Christian Taliban run state government.  With some more laws against abortion, gay live style, gay marriage, laws against the middle class, more taxes against the middle class and poor.  The elimination of food stamps, poor relief.

All  you have to do is look at the others Republican control states.  It's coming to Indiana in a big way.  So hang on Henry your going to get your wish of a complete Republican controlled dictatorship.

Damn do I hate and I do mean hate the Republican Party and all of their true believers.  :azz:

May be time to leave the Hoosier state!

That might be a good thing.  Maybe the Indiana Republican Party might let true believers like :me: and the Hawk run Madison Country.  Wouldn't that be wonderful.     :jc:  Wouldn't they look good with their storm trooper boots and the Taliban arm bands.   :gha: :groan:

:puke:  With the Republicans in full control more of this will happen. :puke:

The Indiana Republican Party want to completely do away inheritance tax and replace it with a sales tax on on-line purchases.

Guess who this will help?  Naturally the upper 20% of the rich family's.  With the elimination of this tax the poor and the middle will be required to pay more taxes on what they make to cover the loss of income to the state.

With the Republican Party in complete control of the state government only thing can get worse.

why is it OKAY to TAX something they HAVE no business in taxing?  Just because someone dies, they should TAX that money AGAIN?
We MUST go to the Fair Tax System or come up with a better way....I am NOT happy about paying MORE taxes either, but we got to come up with a fair way .... we also need to cut spending to meet our budget...that is the way families do it.....business' do it....why should that same basic concept NOT be applied to our Government?

My girlfriend is a perfect example of why the inheritance tax is wrong.  Her granparents, a teacher and a barber who gave $.25 hair cuts, lived very frugally in small town Indiana in the same house they bought shortly after they married that was in walking distance to both of their jobs so they very rarely had to drive and they saved and invested their money.  They had one child who also grew up to be a teacher and also saved and invested and had one child of her own, my girlfriend.  Between the money left to her by her grandparents directly, the trust they set up for her and the money she will inherit from her mother, she will be, let's say, not fabulously wealthy but very comfortable.  Why should the government have any claim to the money that these people saved by doing without so that their heirs would live better than they could?

I think the reasoning is that the person who inherits did not "earn" it - rather like capital gains taxes. How do you feel about federal inhertance tax that the rich have to pay? When my mother died, and she was far from rich, my sister and I had to pay $100 in IN inhertance taxes on her house that was left to us. I was not happy and it wasn't the $100, it was the whole idea of it.

No, capital gains is income and should be taxed at the same rate as any other form of income.

If the deceased got to use the money there would be no more taxes.  Why should someone who receives that money (income) with out paying taxes on it.  All the money I make I pay taxes on it.

But it sure gets me to hear someone bitch about paying $100 for a house they didn't pay a dime in it.  Greedy, Greedy, Greedy.

Here in Indiana each heir doesn't have to pay taxes if they get less than $100,000.      Something for nothing.

And why the hell should they?  Why does the Gov think THEY should get in on it?  I think Exterminator gave an excellent example.

Yea, the government is somewhat greedy.  But nothing like what the Republican believers are.  None want to pay taxes of any kind.

How in hell would the country be anything with out the people who make the money paying into so we pay and build this country.  How in hell would would we have in infrastructure road, bridges, military force, sea ports, airports, how would we have anything in this country if we expected the super and corporations to do anything for anything but themselves.  Just look what the Communist China is doing with our money.  Building infrastructure and Navy and Army.  You guys just don't get it.  :juster: :juster:

Hawk, I have never seen anyone more selfish than you or :me:.  You guys sure have your head up your ass.  I hope there is something in the Universe what will keep fucking Republicans from getting full control like they have here in Indiana.  :groan:

Indiana hang on to your ass, you voted in the Republican bastard in and if your not rich, your next.  :zoners:    :trustme:
