according to many experts....part of the reason the unemployment rate fell is because more than 300,000 people who had previously been looking for jobs gave up. If an individual isn't currently looking for work, researchers don't count him/her as unemployed....so it is really hard to say honestly what is going on.

I did not see PH's post....but if it is true, then is there an argument to be made, that those jobs WERE created without raising taxes?

Ex, I still say, and this is a common voice by most conservatives....insteado of Gov spending billions if not trillions on a stimulus....why not do as I said previously and cut the corporate tax rate from 39 percent to zero THEN let's put a 20 percent tax on all companies who have their business' set up overseas or across our border....

I just find it easier to trust those who make money over those who spend money.

  Your can talk all about job creators, creating job, but the real fact is that during the 8 years of George W. and the Republican Party, is that over a 150,000 American Companies left America and out sourced our jobs all over the world where they pay slave wages.

  Bringing the products back to America and selling they at the price they would charge if it was make in America.  Reaping huge profits which has produced the largest gap in the wealth between the poor and the rich.

  Until we make the manufacturers pay a tariff on their products of country, we will never recover our American life style.  We need a lever playing field.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics data....during the Bush presidency, net total employment went up by 1.08 million jobs.
