I am awaiting his press conference to see just how he handles this and what he has to say regarding this latest allegations.  IF, they are true, then I think he may very well be toast.

I'm a little sick and tired of this republicans are morally superior BS.  That was yesterdays news.  The Fawell era....I think hypocrisy IS what it IS.

Gloria Allred is a scum-sucking bottom feeder who is notorious for being a lying POS.  So, I will take this with a grain of salt, until some solid evidence is brought forth.  How Cain handles this situation is what I am closely watching, and will determine if I will continue to support him for POTUS.

Yesterdays news?

We at Republicans For Family Values believe:

    * that public servants — especially outwardly committed Christians running on a "pro-family" record — should be held to a higher standard of ethics and accountability than other politicians, or the average private citizen;
    * that a candidate's character should be an important factor in the decisions of voters weighing his or her candidacy and qualifications for office;
    * that sexual conduct is a deep reflection of a person's character and the seriousness of their faith and professed morality;
    * that the voting public's right to know about a candidate's character — including his or her "personal" morality — outweighs the privacy concerns of the candidate. A potential legislator's character, morality and integrity are a guide to whether they can be trusted to keep their promises and to serve the public with integrity. Overtly Christian and religious candidates, especially, have a higher calling and ethical bar in this regard;
    * lastly, that the liberal/secular campaign to disengage (private) morality — and indeed all religion — from public life is fatally flawed and dangerous to the Republic. (Publicly Christian) Bill Clinton's perverted and treacherous "private" life as president had far-reaching repercussions for America and for public policy – but beyond that it contributed greatly to the corruption of children and the degradation of American morals generally.

You said it was yesterday's news. I proved you wrong. Nothing more, nothing less.

So you're admitting that Republicans are immoral, lying bottom feeders; good for you!
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

  I think they are all of what you said.  But have you seen what the born again Christian President of The Research Council, Tony Perkins has gone and did.  :rotfl:  :rotfl:

  The faith based Christian, self proclaimed keepers of the American family has bestowed upon the worse dead beat dads in congress.  His name is Joe walsh as the best supporters of a moral family.   :laugh: :laugh:

Old Joe owes $117,437 in back child support, he owed this much money to his ex-wife and his 3 children before he was elected to Congress and he hasn't paid a dime since.  :mad:

  Damn these Republicans have such high morals.  Let's get out the Bible and :pray: :preach: :pope: for old Joe.  What a joke :jester:

  Guess what, the smart people of Mississippi turned down that stupid Christian law on the ballot to make abortion illegal.  Maybe someone in that state is finally getting smart.  :jc:

In reference to Cain being a liar and pervert someone (either "me" or Henry) said that it's "funny". That these allegations started AFTER he started looking at the while house.

That's false. They may have just come to light, but he's been previously accused of being a perv. Not only was he accused, they were paid off.

You are so totally just believing what you want to hear.

The Restaraunt Association was handling those allegations....they found them baseless, but decided to release those women from their duties and along with paying their severence, they had them sign waivers rather than spend countless $$$ going to court.  NOT ONE has even come out and even stated WHAT it was he said or did.  JUST allegations of sexual harrassment........which could be a number of things, besides being a pervert.  THAT is YOU buying into all of the Political BS.

Btw, he even passed a lie detector test and this latest woman did not..............

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2060174/Herman-Cain-PASSES-lie-detector-test-sexual-harassment-claims.html

Sandy, I'm not saying it never happened AFTER he ran for the WhiTe House....I'm saying now that he is running, these girls all found it convenient to NOW re-vist these "allegations"......and I'm sure they are only doing it because they are Patriotic and MONEY has NOTHING to do with it. ;)
again, these are ALLEGATIONS..........nothing proven.........and to ruin a guy's future because of allegations is a shameful thing.
on the flip side, IF he actually did do something that is inappropriate, then let the chips fall where they may.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. It's a good idea to pay people off when the charges are baseless.

You know as well as I do, BIG companies do this all the time.......they settle out of court to keep costs down.  Going to court would cost 10 times as much and when it is such a charge as "sexual harrassment" it can be hard to win such a case.  If he was guilty, the resaraunt group could have fired him and moved on....they decided he was not guilty of anything, but opted to release these girls with a severence pay and to let these allegations go.

Listen, my story is JUST as beleivable as yours.........it is he said/she said at this point of time.

and I'm sure there could NEVER be a charactor assassination on a POTUS candidate huh?

Cain is hot right now, so this kind of stuff is expected..............wait until Newt climbs up to the top spot and see what happens then.  I"m sure "something" will just pop up by politico...
