Isn't it amazing how the Republican Dirty Tricks Team can't find one thing bad about Obama's sex live.

Isn't it amazing how you forget that George W. was a drunk and used cocaine.  Or how most likely he knocked up some girl when he was at Yale.  Or how he deserted the Texas Air National Guard.  Forgot about these found indiscretions.  I wonder what else he did in his crooked Profession Ball club deal.

Name calling, I call them as I see them.  If you keep a dead fish on the counter for a couple days it stinks and that's what the present Republican/Tea Party does,  IT'S STINKS.
Ya and yer mom wears combat boots....Bush has nothing...NOTHING...to do with the upcoming elections.  Quit the school kid stuff will ya?  I know that's asking a lot but can't you at least try?

Quite honestly, I cannot figure out how the man has done anything that can be said to be further this mess. He has had to deal with the party of "NO" his entire presidency!

he started it off all real bad when he told the republicans they could go along for the ride, but just get in the back of the bus, so so much for his transparacy.
Then he put forth a bill that was so big they had no idea what was even in it...and those words were exactly what pelosi had to say about it..."pass if firts, then we will see what is in it".....and it was only 787 billion dollars.  He as now driven our deficit to 15 trillion.  HE WAS the one calling Bush un-partiotic for his spending then he has out done Bush in less than three years compared to Bush's 8 years.
He forced his HC bill by when the vast majority of Americans was against it......so, the party of NO as you call them was only standing up for those who voted for them....and said NO.

PH, I know Obama has NOT had an easy task, and I know Bush and the repubs are not even close to being innocent......but, PLEASE admit, that this administration and the democrats have done plenty to keep this country from moving forward.

He IS clearly NOT the leadership that we obviously need to move things forward.....he had NOT even try to reach out to the other side....he has NOT had a budget since he has been in office.  He has done nothing but point his finger at others and NOT manned up for ANYTHING........it was HIS promises HE made...HE said HE could fix this mess......and our mess has only gotten worse........he HAS failed.

And that right there is an indication of what was to come from the republican party. That they took a "joke" and turned it into a major issue should have given everyone a clue as to what was to come. .

And they proceeded to take endless months to rewrite the thing and "defang it", so that now a majority of working class Americans now find themselves being forced into high deductible policies that apply everything toward the deductible. No, I won't admit anything except that the entirety of congress is duplicitous in this god damned fleecing of the REAL working class in this country, and I also include the friggin SCOTUS in that broad statement.

Yes, it is a mess, but no matter what the POTUS tries, they say NO. Even when it is their own ideas he puts in front of them! THAT shows me that there is not a single person in Congress that deserves to be sitting there after the next election. NOT ONE.

AT the end of the day no one man or woman can fix this country. Never could. What will fix it is a joint effort toward correcting the crap they have already put out there. But there isn't an ice cubes chance in hell of that happening. Why? Because the American people have been sold to the corporation. It is really that simple. And all of us combined cannot create the kind of wealth it will take to wrest control of this country from those jackals!

And those first two years the minority created a historical record for filibustering! You keep forgetting that bullshit, but I will never forget it.

You can say what you want to about the Bush presidency. It stank, and it helped put us where we are now; but for all his blathering idiocy, he still doesn't hold a candle to that of the last two sessions of congress. Not even close.

This bullshit I lay squarely at their doorstep, and if the American people do not toss these assholes out onto the street, then we all might as well bend over and kiss our collective asses goodbye.

They hold our citizens welfare hostage to their political ideals, (which are highly questionable), then pass some band aid measure designed to assure we get dry humped; as we will soon see when these idiots fail to come up with the cuts mandated by their damned bandaid measure.

They WANT this country to fail, they want its citizens screaming from their cardboard boxes, because they KNOW that is the only way they are going to get the man in the Oval office out of there.

This pile of crap we are in started with Ronald Reagan's deregulation, trickle down theory with Newt Gingrich contract for America.

It continued through George H. Bush's one world government, NAFTA and with the best president Republicans Bill Clinton.  The only reason that Old Bill had a balanced budget was Bill wouldn't let the Republicans spend to much money and the Republicans would let Bill spend any money.

Then the bottom dropped out with the most stupid President America has ever had George W. Bush.  After 8 years of George W. and the Republican party.  How in hell would any one in their right mind let the Republicans back in.

If the people put the Republicans back in.  YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER HOOVER DEPRESSION, but this time it will be worse.  :trustme:

PH, I respectfully disagree with you....and YOU only on here.  I feel your passion, but I have equally strong passion with this POTUS and his ability (or his lack of) to do what is best for this country....

I have to agree with one thing as to where I have no problem with the whole damn bunch of those yahooos getting a pink slip and bringing in a whole new bunch who are NOT already in bed with lobbyiest and making several million dollars.

I will stick with my guns, and continue to see to it that a conservative form of government will return to Washington, because I KNOW that is what is best for the people of this country.

We may get the opportunity to see this happen in one year, then we will finally see what happens to this country.

Sorry PH but I disagree.  It started with Clinton's "everyone has a right to own a home" policy.  That was when all the easy to obtain loans started and people could get a house with no or little down payment and even get cash back in their pockets at closing if the mortgage broker worked it right.  Prices started to sky rocket because more homes were being sold and the demand out grew the supply all of a sudden.   Mortgage brokers found appraisers who would over appraise properties so they could get people cash back at closing to do whatever with.  This was done on the secondary loans and not conventional ones which adhered to the stricter guidelines. A lot of investors used the mortgage brokers because they could get money at closings and over mortgaged because they didn't think down the line to the future.  Also places like The Lending Tree showed up and people refinanced and didn't understand that refinance appraisals were naturally higher than market appraisals and got in too deep and couldn't sell because they owed more than the house was worth between the first and second mortgages.  Bush in no way had anything to do with the housing bubble because it started going sour before he became president.  When he did try to do something Barney Franks and Chris Dodd kept telling him it was fine and FM and SM weren't in trouble.  Meantime those bad loans kept getting sold here and there and bundled in with good loans to unsuspecting banks.

And to continue, since I was interrupted by a phone call, Bush also had 9/11 and Katrina to deal with as well as the war so, yes, he spent a lot of money and some that shouldn't have been spent but he is by no means solely responsible for what is going on now.  Obama has been throwing good money after bad as fast as he possibly can with little deals like "cash for clunkers", Solyndra, Tarp money that didn't do a thing, and the list goes on.

So no one is accountable for their individual personal / professional decisions? Really?!

Had I taken advantage of the predatory lending practices, I'd now own a cumulative block's worth or real estate. But I didn't.

The REAL crime in the housing bubble burst is the fact that not a single person was held accountable. Scores of them are guilty, but not one is in the sin bin.

But, again, you paint with a brush loaded with the broad strokes of ignorance. Anyone who thinks the MILLIONS of Americans who are homeless, in foreclosure, or that have been foreclosed upon, are all a direct result of the predatory lending practices is, quite frankly, delusional; or has a nefarious agenda that makes such unreasonable assumptions attractive to their agenda.

The reality is that the lion's share of families that find themselves homeless, or in dire financial straights, purchased homes that were well within their financial reach at the time they made the purchases, and through no fault of their own they lost their employment and could no longer afford the homes they were / are in . Couple that with the collapse of property valuations and not only can they no longer afford these homes, but they are no longer worth what they paid for them; resulting in short sales and even more predatory practices on the part of the lending institutions, as they hold the foreclosed accountable for the remaining balance and force them into bankruptcy.

And still, these jackals are not held accountable.

Anyone else see the hypocrisy in the conservative republican party line of "personal accountability"? Its nothing more than a talking point!
