Please tell me WHY you think that this company I work for is NOT generous?  This is no lie, but I would NOT trade my job (at my position) for any other employer in the country.  I am so very satisfied with my pay, my benefits, my co-workers, my boss EVERYTHING.....the only downside is I must drive 40 miles each way.......but, I accept that and it is well worth it.  I'm not sure WHEN I will retire...I am in no hurry, for I enjoy my job and as long as I keep my health, I have no thoughts of retiring at 65.  I still have two 11-year olds to finish raising and send to college.

I think you may as well give up on Troll.  He just can't get his head around the fact that some of the best places to work with the better benefits and working conditions are non union and they know they have to treat their employees well or they won't be able to get good ones.  Also the employees actually make more because they don't have to give part of their pay to a union who, when it comes right down to it, could care less about them because they're only interested in getting that money each month.
