You know, the article stated facts and less than 3 percent is considered a sluggish economy under any president. Yes, I did read the entire article including the tabs. I did a little digging about the gdp in general and found a couple interesting bits of trivia. The gdp was first used in 1929 (at least that is the first record I found) and hopefully we all remember what happened in 1929. Oddly enough the lowest gdp did not happen during the great depression but in the first quarter of 1958 at -10 percent. The highest gdp was in 1950.

I wonder why they only used the original NATO members for comparison.
