You chose a stressful keep up with the Jonse's lifestyle and I chose a more laid back comfortable lifestyle because "things" are not as important to me as friends, family, and enjoying life. I do not live in a "hovel" I have a comfortable "home" where people feel welcome and at ease and that is more important than having huge house payments on a "house" where people feel they can't relax or they'll break something or mess something up. Don't have credit cards 'cause I pay cash for what I want and don't have a car payment 'cause I saved for what I wanted and paid cash for one that didn't cost an arm and a leg come time to renew license plates, my choice. You keep your fancy car, huge house, and all the luxuries you want and keep making sure you have a job to pay for it all and put up with all the stress of keeping up with the Jonse's and I'll stick with my stress free comfortable no payments lifestyle being able to get what I want and knowing people like me for me and not what I have. You have all of that right except for a few things...we have no credit card debt or car payments and the minimal house payment we have goes to a trust so we're essentially paying ourselves interest.  The food might actually taste better in the new kitchen because we'll be replacing our electric cooktop with gas and we've been saving for the renovation for some time now.  We will use credit cards to pay for some of it because we like the points but we never carry a balance.  So yeah...not a lot of stress going on my way but thanks for playing!
