Why is it racist?  Yes, I go 100% along with poor taste.  I will also agree, that there more than likely many racist out there.  But, I don't think it is anymore racist than a black crowd bashing Bush.  Wrong in both cases.

I am officially done now.  I don't have anything more to say about it.  It is already OVER talked about.

Did you not read the parts that I put in bold when I posted the original article?  The other clown that was there went out and was flicking the lips of the mask up and down.  That's racist to the core.

24 seconds into the video, the announcer even says, "Take a look at your lips."

That's racist HH.  There's no denying it.

Locutus, your replies were more appropriate than mine. I woke up this morning thinking about it, and was embarrassed. I have been going through an extremely difficult time with an extremely difficult person who sometimes irritates me to the point of  :icon_evil: .... so, for  you and HH and Bo, this part of my reply was right on:

Ya know, I've heard nothing but good about today's speech, with 2 or 3 exceptions directed at speakers who were pot stirrers, but why were Republicans omitted from the list of speakers.  Yes, Bush was sent an invite but they knew he was recovering from surgery and wouldn't be able to make it.  I think this particular person should have been invited if no other Republican was and if you bother to read the article to the end you will see why.
QuoteSen. Tim Scott wasn't invited to event commemorating MLK march on Washington

Sen. Tim Scott, R.-S.C., the only African American serving in the United States Senate, wasn't invited to the event commemorating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's march on Washington, though a host of Democratic luminaries spoke on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

"Senator Scott was not invited to speak at the event," Greg Blair, a spokesman for the South Carolina lawmaker, said in a statement to the Washington Examiner. "The senator believes today is a day to remember the extraordinary accomplishments and sacrifices of Dr. King, Congressman John Lewis, and an entire generation of black leaders. Today's anniversary should simply serve as an opportunity to reflect upon how their actions moved our country forward in a remarkable way."

The event organizers didn't completely exclude Republicans from the event — former President George W. Bush, for instance, received an invitation, but he couldn't attend as he is recovering from surgery — but the slate of speakers was filled with names such as former President Clinton, Gov. Martin O'Malley, D-Md., Oprah Winfrey, Jamie Foxx and others.

President Obama was the keynote speaker of the event, of course, which is held in honor of the achievements of Dr. King and other civil rights leaders. Wouldn't it have made sense to have the first black president joined by the first black senator from South Carolina, which was a Jim Crow state when the original march on Washington took place?

The Washington Examiner contacted MLK Dream 50 to ask why Scott wasn't invited, but didn't hear back in time for publication.

It was nothing more than some democrats trying to propagandize and important event....promoting their agenda, more than celebrating civil rights.

Why didn't the teapublicans plan some observation themselves if this was so important to them?  It's a rhetorical question...stop pretending like any of you gives a fuck.

This POTUS is supposed to be a uniter and has done nothing but divide.  You know full well what he did by not including this particular person was wrong and very small of him.  He had to have those "stars" there though didn't he?
