And once again you're posting how something is "supposed" to work.  Is $150 going to make up for the extra people have to pay in premiums?

Carson Refuses To Live On Left's Racist Plantation

Posted 07/24/2013 06:49 PM ET

Audacity: Renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson eloquently refuses to stay on liberalism's black plantation. So, naturally, the left seeks his destruction.

George Zimmerman's prosecutors' star witness, Rachel Jeantel — whose contentious, garbled testimony backfired badly — told CNN's Piers Morgan of the jury that heard her, "They old. That's old-school people. We in a new school, our generation."

As she experiences her 15 minutes of fame, Jeantel would no doubt lump Benjamin Carson in with the "old-school people." But these two black Americans represent the different paths available to everyone in a free country, regardless of ethnicity.

Detroit native Carson, who earned every second of his many years of fame, was taught discipline, diligence and reading skills by his single mother, as he struggled with bad grades and a quick temper.

Nineteen-year-old Jeantel, lacking a high school diploma, has been offered free SAT tutoring and a scholarship to the black college of her choice by a liberal talk-radio host, obviously because she is on the correct side of the ideological fence.

Justice Clarence Thomas recounted in his memoir, "My Grandfather's Son," how he was told as a teen "that I would have to learn how to talk properly if I didn't want to be thought 'inferior.'" While such "candor hurt me," Thomas recalled that "it motivated me, too."

Working hard on communication skills was just one ingredient that took Thomas from dirt poverty in Pin Point, Ga., to the highest court in the land.

Liberal elites in the media, like CNN's Morgan, tolerate no such candor as regards Jeantel's shortcomings, because she's their ideological ally. But Carson has broken the philosophical chains with which the left shackles nonwhites, so he gets savaged.

Leftist TV fixture Bill Maher calls Carson "a drooling idiot." But Dr. Carson's "drooling" left our supposedly smartest-president-ever painfully embarrassed earlier this year at the National Prayer Breakfast, when Carson made a case against progressive taxation.

Ben Carson isn't just a brain surgeon, but an inspiring voice of wisdom and liberty who, like Clarence Thomas, is a threat to a leftist establishment that cannot stand, as Thomas put it over 20 years ago, "uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas."

You will not live to see Republicans nominate a black man for POTUS.  Ain't gonna happen.

I digress!  (I always wanted to say that!)

The only reason I can think of why we would NOT see it, is because the liberal media would destroy the charactor of any person who made that attempt....as they did Herman Cain.

There are several prominent black men and a few women on the rise in the conservative world that would be very much welcomed.

Wrong.  It'll never happen because there are plenty of rich, racist white people who will never let it.

How could the so-called "liberal" media sink a black candidate when the neocon noise machine with all of it's money could not and why would conservatives be listening to them anyway?  Nope, your party gets to decide who it will nominate all by itself.

Look what they already did to Herman Cain and you've got your answer.  As soon as he became a viable candidate the character assassination was on.

You, are sadly misinformed, and have a skewed outlook at our polical party.

But according to you conservatives, you don't trust or believe the liberal media anyway so how could they have possibly influenced your party's decision not to nominate him?  Something doesn't add up!

I think we have 40% on the right and 40% on the left.........with 20% that is depending on the way the wind is blowing.

That is why I think the pendulam will swing back to the right (one of these days)...and to that 40% right, they don't care what color the person is, as long as they are NOT liberal.

What were Cain's highest numbers in the polls? Maybe 25%?

Try again.
