Just gonna sit back and see how this plays out since it was a liberal actually being racist.  Let the excuses begin. 

On Tuesday, Minnesota state Rep. Ryan Winkler, a Democrat, hit Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas with a racist slur, calling him an "Uncle Tom" on Twitter, in response to the Court's decision on the 1965 Voting Rights Acts, the Washington Times reported.


"VRA majority is four accomplices to race discrimination and one Uncle Thomas. Marriage decision may blur Court's backsliding," he tweeted.

Winkler quickly deleted the tweet and issued what the Times described as a "conditional-tense quasi-apology" in subsequent tweets. Although the message was deleted, Twitchy said it was archived by Topsy.

"Deleted Tweet causing offense regarding Justice Thomas. I apologize for it, but believe VRA decision does abet racism," he tweeted.

He later claimed he didn't know the term he used was racist.

"I did not understand 'Uncle Tom' as a racist term, and there seems to be some debate about it. I do apologize for it, however," he tweeted.

Most of those responding, however, did not believe him.

"So, basically you're saying that you're so racially naïve that you used a word you didn't know was denigrating?" one person asked.

"You didn't realize a white man calling a black man a slur synonymous with being servile and a race-traitor was racist? Oh," said another Twitter user.

"Tell us, @RepRyanWinkler what makes it 'debatable' to call a black justice an 'Uncle Tom?'" asked Dana Loesch.

Others noted the irony of his work address on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

"I'm concerned you made it through HS if you did not know 'Uncle Tom' is a racist term," said another Twitter user.

Not only did Winkler graduate high school, the Times said he has an undergraduate history degree from Harvard and a law degree from the University of Minnesota, making his claim of ignorance even more difficult to believe.

Former Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., said Winkler should resign, citing the recent furor over comments made by cooking show host Paula Deen.

"If Paula Deen must resign so should MN Rep Winkler. Didn't know Uncle Tom is racist slur? I'm sick of liberal hypocrisy," he tweeted.

This isn't the first time Justice Thomas has been the target of racist attacks from liberals.

Recently, liberals on Twitter, including MSNBC's Toure, celebrated Thomas' birthday with hate-filled tweets that included racist slurs and death wishes.

In Feb. 2011, liberal activists protesting the Koch brothers advocated lynching Thomas and his wife.

Last June, liberals on Twitter directed a number of racist tweets against Thomas, saying he should be returned to slavery.

Winkler issued an apology through the state House, but the Times said he didn't mention Justice Thomas nor did he mention his racist slur.

"In expressing that disappointment on Twitter, I hastily used a loaded term that is offensive to many. My words were inappropriate and I apologize," he said. "I regret that my comments have distracted from the serious dialogue we must have going forward to ensure racial discrimination has no place in our election system."

And a lot of it was opinion based on projected figures and how something was supposed to work which you all took as fact.  Well, it's beginning to become fact now, referring to the HCB stuff of course, and a lot of the things mentioned that weren't supposed to happen are happening.  Loss of jobs, higher ins costs, and overall cost of implementing parts of the plan are only a few of the things.
