How do you?

I think I have a "valued" respect among those men and women, who have served in high capacity roles as they did, as to how they veiw our leadership.

Really? So as a retired member of the military one is automagically endowed with some higher wisdom surrounding economics and business, as well as governance of a nation?

How exactly do a group of retired generals have any idea about current status of this nation?

Quote from: Exterminator on November 05, 2012, 01:50:06 PM
Or for that matter, economics?  As career military people, they are about as isolated from the real world and business as it gets.

I just said I have respect for them, and I value their opinions.  Unlike the opinions on here, which I do not place any value, because they are full of hatred and anomosity...

Lots of conservatives think so.

The military I served in was populated by the same percentage of social and mental assholes and degenerates as the civilian population.

I don't think it has changed much.

Somehow, though, there are a great number of those who have not served who want to make every single person who wore a uniform an automatic hero and a demi-god who possesses extraordinary intelligence beyond that of mere mortals.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

Only the conservatives who wore a uniform.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

and if Obama loses, are you willing to admit, that Obama was plain and simply NOT the leader that we desperately want.....the same people that voted him in, will be the ones who voted him out....so they can't be racist.

Obama had NO intentions of working across the aisle...........he openly stated.........they can go along for the ride, but to stay OUT OF THE WAY.

That has put a burr on my ass ever since he said that.........he did NOT even TRY to make the HC a bi-partisan bill.............they rammed that baby through so fast, that Pelosi did NOT even know what was in the Bill.............this is a fact.

1)  Produce that quote in context - you're so fond of using that but never produce a verifiable link.

2)  You continue to show you haven't the faintest clue how government works.  The manner in which legislation works is that until a bill is brought up for a final vote and passed, the bill is in flux - meaning changes such as riders etc. can alter the bill.

Pelosi, being an actual legislator knowing how it works and not some ignoramus Indiana hick, was correct.  The remark was spun by the RW noize machine for consumption by you gullible idjits.

.....until, we understand that we cannot continue to pay unskilled workers $85 an hour to make an auto HERE.....we are doomed.  THAT alone is what is killing us.

1)  Again you make that unsubstantiated claim about union auto worker's pay - and unsubstantiated is the nicest way to put it.

2)  Just to show you that you never appear to engage what few brain cells you might have, since a lot of production involved with the making of automobiles has been moved to areas where fair wages and environmental standards don't apply, has the consumer cost of an automobile dropped from the previous price?  Has the consumer cost continued to increase?  Have manufacturer's profits continued to increase?

The answer to all the questions is an obvious yes which proves that your BS about union autoworkers wages is just that - pure, unadulterated bull shite.
