So, in your opinion, the credit downgrade was an acceptable consequence of the Tea Party member's actions?  Is that what you're saying?  I would love to hear your justification for such an opinion if that's indeed what your opinion is.

the credit downgrade had more to do with congress NOT putting together a budget indicating a reduction of spending.  No leadership to show that they are at least TRYING to make things better.
