Obama Supporters Continue Threats To Riot, Assassinate Romney
Secret Service attention fails to dampen violent Twitter comments

October 23, 2012
Despite the issue garnering a significant amount of media interest as well as the attention of the Secret Service, Obama supporters continued their threats to riot and assassinate Mitt Romney if Obama loses in the aftermath of last night's presidential debate.
As we reported last week, Twitter has been flooded recently with violent comments from Obama supporters. The increase in volume of the comments seemed to coincide with Romney's poll numbers edging higher against Obama.
Not only have Obama voters been making open threats that they will riot and cause mayhem, they have also been caught making direct threats to assassinate Mitt Romney, prompting the Secret Service to announce that it was "aware" of the threats and would "conduct appropriate follow up if necessary."
Despite the fact that the media reported extensively on threats made against Obama prior to the 2008 election, their silence on the threats made against Romney has been deafening. Indeed, the act of a few old guys hanging up empty chairs in reference to Clint Eastwood's RNC speech garnered substantially more coverage and concern from the press compared to hundreds if not thousands of tweets threatening violence against Mitt Romney.
Americans who simply display political signs expressing opposition to Obama's policies have been treated as potential violent threats by authorities in the past, and yet not a single Twitter user has faced retribution for making direct and sometimes graphic death threats against Romney.
Leftists routinely cry foul and attempt to demonize conservatives as violent extremists whenever online rhetoric gets heated, and yet when their own engage in even worse conduct, their behavior is absolved and the media is disinterested.
Before the Secret Service announced they were investigating the threats, Obama front group Think Progress attempted to imply that the whole story was somehow a racist contrivance dreamed up by the Drudge Report and Infowars.
Here are just a selection of tweets from Obama supporters threatening riots and violence during and after last night's foreign policy debate. There are too many to reprint in full.
If the Secret Service does plan on following this up, they are going to be very busy indeed.

How do you know they were real?

LOL!  Look at the source - it's Alex Jones Infowars/Prison Planet.

Secondly, as Olias so aptly pointed out, using Twitter as a basis for that tripe cannot support the original premise because Twitter comments, like most comments made on the internet, are essentially impossible to authenticate.

Ole' Alex, the conspiracy theorist, would have been better served to create a conspiracy involving RW operatives using Twitter to make Obama the 'nigra' and his 'race traitor' supporters look like the old anarchists.

As I've continually pointed out, it's obvious the RW/Conservatives/TBer's ideology is bankrupt when they don't have the means to present cogent arguments in the marketplace of ideas which leaves them with the same actions which brought about the National Socialist Party in pre-war Germany.

that is a moot point.........the FACT is, that is what was OFFERED by the administration.

The bottom line is they are trying to force some GREEN technology that is NOT ready for the free market.......or they gave it to crooked investors..........either way, this was NOT the time to waste nearly a trillion dollars.

LMAO!

BS, Hank.  Your entire premise was that these companies wasted taxpayer money and therefore that 'nigra' Obama -and hence the 'nigra lovin' 'race traitor' Democrats and the environmentalists/greens - wasted taxpayer monies.

So when you BS list is concocted with companies that neither received or spent any taxpayer monies, your BS propaganda not only falls apart but by its own hand is proven to be propaganda.

Tell me something Hank.  When does your so called ethical religious system actually begin to produce 'fruit' in your actions?

ORLANDO, Fla. — State and federal agents are investigating fake letters being sent to Republicans and appear to be from the supervisors of elections in 21 counties.

Dr. Nanette Parratto-Wagner values her right to vote, but the Philadelphia native got a letter Saturday questioning her citizenship.

"It's crucial in tight races that everybody who is legally eligible to vote, do so," she said.

The letter looks like it was sent from the local supervisor of elections office and said if Wagner didn't respond in 15 days and she voted, she could be arrested.

"I opened it up and I'm looking at this and I went, 'You've got to be kidding me,'" said Wagner. "I was absolutely freaked out Saturday night."

Mike Ertel, the Seminole County supervisor of elections said there is no truth to the letter at all.

Ertel's name was on the letter that went out to some of his constituents. He believes the scam is purely meant to intimidate voters.

The only clue investigators have about the sender is the out-of-state postmark. The letters were mailed from Seattle and ended up in the mailboxes of people in 21 counties across the state, including Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Volusia and Brevard.

If law enforcement can track down the senders, they'll face state and federal charges that include voter intimidation and fraud.

"It's our responsibility now to cause chaos in their life, personally, find out who they are, prosecute them," said Ertel.

You are letting the propagandists stir your emotions with a straw man. The fact is the amount of "voter fraud" being committed in this entire nation amounts to about 1% of the entire voting populace. 1%!

Why? Because they'll put your ass in the sin bin for a very long time if you are caught at it.

NOTE A 2007 ARTICLE:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/12/washington/12fraud.html?_r=0

How much do you think it cost to prosecute the 26 convictions between 2002 and 2005? ( An average of 6.5 votes in each of those years. Does anybody really think this is going to sway a federal election?)  Do you think it is worth it, if so how can you validate such an unreasonable expenditure while women and children starve?

Moreover, even though it seems like something you couldn't live without, 11 percent of Americans don't have any form of photo ID. For most of us, our ID is our driver's license, and it's easy to forget that lots of people don't drive because they're elderly, disabled, too poor or just don't feel like it. But hey, 11 percent isn't that bad . . . that's only about 21 million potential voters!

So in your book its okay to disenfranchise 21 million voters over the  1% of Americans that get charged with voter fraud over confusion, misinterpretation of the rules, or some other act of unconsciously doing so, which is why even less than that get actually convicted of the act?

Let alone that here of late, whenever voter fraud actually has occurred, it's been the Republicans doing it.

Well yes and no. The article I quoted said that those who voted democratic had been the greater of the two between 2002 and 2005. As if the number was so large as to have been actually capable of impacting a federal election. . .

AND...there is also a big difference between registration fraud and actual voting fraud...EVEN though the RW is trying to lump it all in together as voter fraud.

The total of both is a miniscule percentage...AND...if it can actually be found, voting fraud is a miniscule percentage of that total miniscule percentage.

The entire issue is BS propaganda blown astronomically out of proportion and being used by the RW to prevent citizens from voting - which not so incidentally benefits the RW.

Another example of how the RW/Conservative/TBer ideology can't win in the marketplace of ideas leaving them to resort to these despicable tactics to try and get elected.
