Here's what your Congress did ....

Scott Lilly, who spent three decades as a senior staffer for Democrats in Congress, often working on budget matters, and now a fellow at the Center for American Progress in DC, says the cuts sought by Congress have been steep since the new House sat in 2011.

The Worldwide Security Protection program (WSP), which the government says provides "core funding for the protection of life, property, and information of the Department of State," and a separate embassy security and construction budget, which in part improves fortifications, have both been under fire.

"In 2011 they came in and passed a continuing resolution for the remainder of that fiscal year. The House proposed $70 million cut in the WSP and they proposed a $204 million cut in Embassy security," says Mr. Lilly. "Then the next year, fiscal 2012, they cut worldwide security by $145 million and embassy security by $376 million. This year's bill is the same thing all over again. The House has cut the worldwide security budget $149 million below the request."

That would be the Republican-controlled House, Hank.

You're wasting you time.  Hank is standing there with his fingers in his ears screaming "la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. Can't hear you Olias."     The lad is sure funny.

at least congress submitted a budget!  The senate has yet to propose one.

That does not relinquish the administration from not responding to the ambassador for more security, in an area that was KNOWN to have an attack made upon it.....the admin failed to respond to the ambassadors request.

With Grover Norquist and the Tea Party running the House.  What is the use of the Democrats of making a budget.  The party of NO, will say NO again and again and again.  Can you believe that adult grown men would sign a pledge to a man like Grover Norquist.  Oh, I forgot that is what Hitler made the Germans do.  Pledged their lives the Fuhrer, heir Hilter, Heil Grover.  :salute:

They say no, because Harry Reid has shut down amendments and floor debates....

Senator Rubio put it this way:

"The filibuster basically is requiring 60 votes on a bill. That's what the filibuster is. I'm saying we can't even get the vote on the ideas that we've offered. And so when you don't allow the minority party to get votes on legitimate ideas, the only tool the minority party has, the only leverage you have as the minority party in the Senate is the 60-vote threshold. That's the counterreaction to it."

"the Senate isn't working the way it's supposed to work. The Senate is supposed to be a place where any senator can offer amendments on any bill, you have a vote on it, [and] if they don't like it you vote against it and we move on."

I sorry Mr. Hawk the only thing that sticks out in my mind about you and your Republicans and it has worked up to the point of lengthening George W's depression is.  "Our main job is to make Barack Obama a one term president."  To give credit to you and your party, the Republican/Tea Party.  You sure gave it a good try and you have hurt his country in many unmeasurable ways.  :finger2:  I sure can't call you and your Republican, Americans.  Money is the only thing you people worship.   :repub:

Until people like you wake up, and realize that the democrats are NOT looking out for the best interests of ALL americans, but just themselves.....we are in trouble.

They cater to the food stamp folks.......for votes.  It has doubled in three years.  They cater to the illegal immigrants, for votes.  They cater to women rights groups for votes.......NOT for what is best for them, but for VOTES.

Why some cannot see this is amazing to me.

Henry you lied.  Illegal immigrants can't vote.  Don't make fun of food stamps, you might need them someday.  Sure there are more people on food stamps because of George W. Bush.  Did you forget about the dumb ass that destroyed the industrial base of this country and got us into two wars and cause the biggest financial disaster since Herbert Hoover's depression.  The most stupid president in American history.     And you voted for him twice and you vetoed for two of the biggest fools in history.  John McCain and Sarah Palin.  That sure tells how you think.

Tell me just what the Republicans have in the interest of women.  I'll bet you can't name one thing the Republicans have done for the betterment of women.  You Republican are just like the Taliban when it comes to women.  Mean son of bitches.  If you treated you wife like you want to treat other women you never get any.  Say, that might be your problem, you ain't getting any any more.  :haha:

So is the house.  With the exception of the 24 working days during which the Democrats had a fillibister-proof majority, care to guess how many hundreds of time Republicans fillibustered bills, some of which they originated?

Stop insulting our intelligence by trying to pretend you know how the government works; it's already obscene that they let you vote.

Oh, women are waking up, especially after the debate.  Ryan and Romney will take women right to control their body if elected.  Ryan said and if you watched the debate you seen he say it to.  :eye:

Yes, they cater too them, with trying to pass laws to entice them.  Such as amnesty. Depending on certain States, they can receive free financial aid.  THAT is what I am strongly suggesting....Never said they can vote, but they can support the politicians who do this....and those who are already deemed legal are more willing to support such........it is being done for votes, NOT what is best for our Country.

Everything politicians do is for votes. And you DID suggest they can vote. "They cater to the illegal immigrants, for votes."

Let me re-phrase as....They cater to the illegal immigrants........for votes (because, if they get amnesty through, THEY could very well become VOTERS).  THAT was my thought and intent.

Yes, and that very budget was a direct contributor to the death of an ambassador of the United States of America. Where's your outrage over that?

And you did indeed lie, strongly implying that illegal immigrants can vote. It is nothing but a lie. It's just that simple.
