I don't know which part of her post you are referring to but two years ago we had to find a new family doctor. I called the physicians referral service at St. John's. When I told them my husband was on Medicare they said that limited the number of doctors they could referr us to as a lot of doctors were limiting the number of Medicare/Medicade patients to 10% of their practice.

But you did bet a doctor?  I'll bet you did.  It looks like as much time as you gave at St. John's they could have worked a little harder and found you one.

But Annie you won't need Medicade until you're in a nursing home and your husband has spent half of your joint assets.  Then after you have almost broke your old man, Medicare will help take care of the bill you will be running up and nursing homes have doctors.  But while he has some assets left, you will be able to find a doctor.  Just saying.

All of it.

Lets see, so the doctors you tried to get in to see were limiting Medicare/ade  patients to 10 %. Can you guess why that is?

I don't suppose all the saber rattling going on from the conservative congressional members threatening to slash, do away with them would have anything to do with it now would it?

The is no shortage of doctors. Just a shortage of doctors with any faith in our governments good faith; thanks in no small part to the conservative extremists.

It seems here lately that every single time Debbie Wasserman Schultz opens her mouth, she does neither herself nor her party any favors.  And unlike the rest of you, she is my own Congressional representative.  She represents my district here in southern Florida.  I've seen her out dining in local establishments four or five times.

Yes, of course I found a doctor, and I think a good one. The point is that doctors are limiting their Medicare patient load for whatever reason. I would hazard a guess that it is because of the small amount that Medicare pays or maybe they just don't want to deal with old people. Do you think they aren't doing that?

I had one of my doctors tell me, "I would like for Medicare pay more, but I would rather deal with Medicare than Health Insurance companies.  Insurance companies want to fight with me and slow in paying.  I can count on Medicare paying at the end of the month."

We need some new revenue, let's tax the bastards that have all of the money and all of the power.

Being a doctor doesn't automagically give one insight into things they know nothing about.

Yeah, I'm sure you hang out with a lot of doctors.

I hope for fuck's sake that no doctor who ever treats me is so illiterate that he/she can't spell, "lunatic."

Got news for ya buddy, I have some close friends that are docs......my wife works with several, and we associate with them quite often, and I can tell you, they are NOT voting for Obama.  I hope for fuck's sake that no doctor I know has to ever deal with your pompous ass.....

but, then again, I really don't care.  Just felt the need to interject "fucks sake" in my retort.
