Obviously, neither your nor I know what was on the minds of the MBC&VB when they decided to do that, but my work was done.  It was originally posted as a lie, and the lie was refuted.

Most likely dues by their membership.  Myrtle Beach is rife with very wealthy beach clubs, and golf resorts.

Since you Republicans tend to like business and commerce, I can't imagine why you would want the MBC&VB's advertising effort in Charlotte to be destroyed.  After all, there isn't a more conservative state in the U.S. than South Carolina.  And all they're trying to do is generate business and tourism for the beach.

The only reason you revel in the fact that the rains did some damage is because it's a statue of Obama.  And the only logical reason that you could be happy about that is because of your ______________.

Hey, no different than the liberals wanting a hurricane to wreak havoc on the RNC convention.  At least no one would be hurt from a sculpture washing away.

The original headline was a lie.  It said that the DNC erected a monument to Obama at the convention site.  That wasn't the case at all.

No, I was looking for something and it popped up in the search for some reason.  It just struck me as funny and ridiculous at the same time.

don't see why there is a controversy it was built for the DNC....if the DNC was not going to be there, they would not have built it......but with that said, I really don't care nor do I see a big deal other than the artist didn't do all that good of job..(again, I couldn't do it better, just sayin)
