They are free in Indiana, and many other states.....I think it is a small price for a state to pick up, to assure some integrity in our voting system....it does NOT affect ALL Americans, only a handfull.

I think if that person had 10 bucks to eat and a free ID to vote....he would vote for someone who is going to get this economy going again so eating is not a life or death issue.

If people have lost a home and a job then they already have an ID because you have to have an ID to buy a home or get a job.  In some cases you have to have an ID to even rent a home.  You also have to have an ID to get welfare, food stamps, and commodities.  The arguments you are coming up with are simply talking points to distract from those facts. If someone has worked at a job they've had to have a SS# which means there's proof of birth somewhere so that even blows your no birth certificate thing out of the water.

  This state isn't to bad with this voter ID.  But and I know that in a lot of states the Republican Party don't want the old and the poor to vote.  Plain fact.  :jc:

I know it is not true.....I think there are many, many poor folks who get it, and understand that conservatives WANT a strong economy so they can have a chance to NOT be poor.  But so many poor are bought off by the democrat party by means of "entitlement" programs.....free food, free homes, free phones, free, free, free....that they will not bite the hand that feeds them....but the dems should be ashamed of themselves,......they are no different than slave owners....they will house them and feed them....they just gotta shut up and do their job (vote).
