And you know that's Bush because?

Because I took it; any other questions?

And you know that's Bush because?  That is the back of some guy's head with hair that happens to be almost the same color as Bush's.  The hands look a wee tad young and the face is long rather than round in case you didn't notice.

Watch her guys, she's reading hand now instead of crystal balls and bat wings, toads, poison mushrooms in her caldron. :stirthepot:  :hal2: :dracula: :bat: :witch:

Why is the UN checking into our election laws?  How would they have any say about individual states?

The head of the NAACP is going to ask that they investigate the ID requirement in some states.  Personally I see nothing wrong with it since you have to have an ID for almost everything else and they are provided free of charge if you don't already have some sort of ID like a drivers license.

Last time I checked they are NOT free of charge. My mother had to pay 15 bucks in Illinois, and I believe Indiana charges at least 8 bucks last I checked. . .

Why shouldn't states be investigated by a neutral agency? Seems to make sense to me!

I always thought the United States was a free and open country.  What is wrong with someone coming in to study our election laws and the election process.

Or do the Republicans have something to hide.  With you I think that might be the case.

Yes, we have free ID's available in Indiana for voting purposes (assuming you have all of your documentation) but I'm not sure all states do.

After years and years of voting why do we need a state drivers license to vote.  There has been no voter fraud to any large extent maybe 2%.  It's a Republican law and they don't do anything without a reason.  I always thought the Republicans were for less regulations and less government intrusion.

I think it is a ploy by the Republicans to get the blacks, Hispanics and poor off the voter rolls.  That way with no unions, no minorities is a sure win for the damn Republican.  They have never missed a dirty trick and have always cheated.

Florida doesn't.  You have to cough up a fee to get one here.

I still think it should be a requirement to have in order to vote.  You need one to check a book out of a library.  It would NOT effect that many, since the majority already has some sort of ID or DL.  It would help cease voter fraud.  I think the cost would be minimal to help keep some integrity in our voting system.
