Ok, implement it and then work out the kinks.

Yes, because that's how the real world works.  There are no perfect solutions or systems.  If there were, there would be no need for recalls or software updates.  It is impossible to imagine and plan for every possible contingency and if everyone did so, nothing would ever get done.  The pragmatic thing to do is move forward.

QuoteAll they're asking is for it to be delayed for a year and work out the bugs and kinks they have already ran across what's so bad about that?

That's bullshit and you know it.  These people have wasted an immense amount of time and literally millions of taxpayer dollars trying to sink this thing since the day it first passed.  This is just their latest attempt to do so and any claims to the contrary are just putting lipstick on that pig.

Ya know, if the senate would at least make an attempt at negotiating rather than just go home and ignore what the house is trying to accomplish or Obama would get off his duff and go talk with them it would look like the liberals were at least trying but it's like you do what we want or stuff it.  Also you keep ignoring the fact that the liberals in the house voted for this too not just the conservatives.  We're talking major kinks not little insignificant ones.  Even the unions are against the HCB like it is and that in itself should tell you something since they were all for it until they found out what was going to happen with this round of implementation.  They can't even get the exchanges opened in most places and a lot of people are seeing a drastic increase in their premium and deductibles or faced with being dropped from their spouses insurance.  They also want the medical device tax repealed.  You seriously can't think that was a good idea.

There is nothing to negotiate; the ACA is already law.  Even if there were, how would one go about negotiating with people who have proven they will completely disregard facts, figures, irrefutable evidence and common sense to push their idealistic agenda?  The conservatives on this forum are a perfect microcosmic example of this type of irrational thinking.  I can think of no instance in any discussion here in which any of you was presented with hard evidence that refuted your claims and you admitted you were wrong.  In fact, I can think of many in which you continued to repeat the same mantra even after it had been absolutely proven to be an outright lie.

So again I ask, how do you, "negotiate," with that?

You're delusional.  Any thinking person can see this exactly for what it is.

They sent the House a clean bill going into the weekend.  All they had to do was pass it, but the obstructionist Tea-Billy's didn't want to do that.

There is nothing to negotiate; the ACA is law despite how loudly you neocons staomp your feet and cry.  Grow the fuck up.
