All this news surrounding the census is making me crazy, since they are now saying that they must be mailed back by next Thursday at the latest.

How many of you have received one? I've been watching for it and still have not received it yet!  :rolleyes:

I got mine about two weeks ago...and the frustrating thing for me was, about three days before I received it, they sent me a letter saying I was going to recieve a form....NOW, THAT is about as wasteful as they come....and our gov spending our money as wisely as ever...

another point that kind of sticks in my crawl....they want to know WHAT nationality or race I belong too...and I think that is an obnoixous question.........this should NOT have anything to do with what race you are....either you are an American or you are not....and this is supposed to be for all Americans...a simple count on the American population.

Yeah I've heard all of that controversy surrounding race, especially lately. I just don't understand how they are going to count my home unless we get a form??? Still have not received anything from them at all. . .

Makes me wonder how "accurate" this thing is really going to be anyway!

I got mine but my daughter didn't even though she got her letter saying she was going to be getting her form the same day I got mine.  I did, thankfully, get the short form.

I don't really have a problem w/the process. Why would race be a concern? Aren't the figures used for marketing emographics and such? Although like PH, I'd question how accurate the process is.

no, there is a REAL and SERIOUS difference of Opinions on this subject.....and it is doing what the people WANT them to do....and that is make sure that we are not getting a royal screwing by our government....because MOST folks are NOT too happy right now....and are not willing to sit back and just accept what has happened without a fight....this whole process was handled WRONG...they did too much sneaking and backroom dealings, then SHOVED it through...it is wrong, wrong, wrong...despite what type of sugar coating those on the left are trying to put on it....even many of them felt it was wrong....transparancy my arse!!  :rant:

Your form should have arrived by mid-March. If not, call the Telephone Questionnaire Assistance Center at 1-866-872-6868, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week through the end of July.
