Henry are you an  old Turkey buzzard feeding off the dead and dying in a Hawk suit?   I WILL NOT and DO NOT shop at Walmart and I wouldn't work for the scab bastards.  The one and only reason I don't shop there is the way they treat and pay their workers..   It's so bad you can go everywhere and only find foreign shit to buy.  No American jobs.

You must be one of those DUMBASSES who said, we DON'T NEED MANUFACTURING JOBS.  All  we need is higher education for our people  Did you ever hear of Bell's curve.  Tell me one thing, after you get all of this super duper education. Where are you going to find a job, when there are no jobs and what do you do with all of the people who are not as smart as you and can't  afford higher education.  the TROLL

Oh, so you don't want any tax dollars going to provide health care for those who don't currently have acess to it but you're ok with tax dollars being spent to send kids to religious schools?  Seriously?

I want MY tax dollars that is being allowcated for schools to go to the school of my choice...and I didn't say I didn't want ANY tax dollars going to health care for those who don't currently have access, did I?

You guys sure are good at puttin words in my mouth...I guess that makes your arguements fit....

what I DID say was, I believe you need a good education to assure yourself a better chance a getting a good salary for employement...I think it would be great to have tons of Manufacturing jobs here, but they don't have to pay $30 an hour....I think there are plenty of folks who would love to have a job at 12 to 15 bucks an hour about right now.....the problem is, your kind of mentality suggests that ALL employees should make enough to raise families and have fancey vacations, bass boats, cars and such....

I think we have a bunch of spoiled class of workers out there who want a first class living off of the cost of others....they want Wally world to pay top dollar and keep cost of goods cheap....which is it you want?

I think there is a fine line...you get that UAW mentality and a dvd player goes from 30 dollars to 100 real quick.......and I don't shop walmart either.  I buy American WHEN I can....I'm sick to death at over seas spending....

back on the point, I don't think that paying a guy to stock a shelf a salary equal to a guy who is trained and educated to do a specific job is a good thing, just because he has a powerful union behind him....and THAT is my beef with the UAW....besides the crooked shit that the did back in the glory days....because I witnessed it first hand....

Well what if I want the tax dollars that are being allocated for police to go to the police department of my choice or those being allocated for fire departments to go to the department of my choice?  Not the way it works, Bucko.

That's pretty much exactly what you've been supporting.

No, you are wrong, I would support solution that would lend support to help those who need it, NOT a plan that re does the whole program...and THAT is what is being done...or trying to be done.

and as far as school vouchers, THAT is a solution that should be looked at.....imo

I already pay for your kids to go to school.  It isn't my responsibility to pay for their religious upbringing as well; it's yours.

then pay for someone else's kids then (thanks anyway though, and I didn't even get you a Christmas card)...and let ME use MY tax DOLLARS on the school I prefer, and IF, it happens to be a Christian or a Military one or whatever one I WANT my kids to go to.....then so be it.....

HALEJAH, HALEJAH, HALEJAH THE FIRST COMING OF THE ANTICHRIST.  Old turkey vulture Henry.  Just who in hell do you think you are, God?  I sure wouldn't want to live in a country run by you and ilk like you.  The rich Henry and the poor, go to Mexico.  Just what turnip truck did you fall off of.

Henry,(I sure have a problem of not calling you DUMBASS) but it sure isn't easy.  Henry we live in a democracy.  We stand together and work for the good of the ALL.  We don't let one Right Wingnut decide for himself how he going to spend his tax dollars.  Name me one country that would let you get by with that.  We work for the good of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA  :yes:and ALL of it's people.  Not for the not for THE RIGHT WING OF THE TEABAGGING CHRISTIAN-TALIBAN  DICTATORSHIP OF AMERICA.  Your church is tax free and receives all of the services that is provided by me and  other taxpayers.  Fire, police, the road to it and so on and so on,  Play your Loud bells and music two times per day,  :mad:to people who would like to turn it off.  They won't let the Muslims use they chanting over loud speaker.  As you can guess I live about 300 feet for a large church that has a very loud set of chimes.  Also you get to deduct you donations to it from your taxes.  How is that fair.  Tax break for you church.  B.S.

I know your one of these people,  who doesn't want a minimun wage.  You sure would have been a hard-ass slave owner.  Probably you would own the skinniest salves around.  What I don't get is you think that people "below" you, the people that serve and cook your meals, the people who make it nice for when you go shopping and make it easy for you so you don't have to go out into the warehouse and dig out the things you want (the stores got you checking yourself out ) and all of the other people who follows you around cleaning up after your dirty ass.  Just how do you get that they don't deserve a living wage.  Henry you are one hell of a greedy (Christian????) man.  You sure don't follow Jesus way.

Henry, I started at Ford in 1958 unloading an Assembly line.  It ran 63 pound steering gears with columns  at 7 per a minute, with two 12 minutes breaks.  Reaching out over the assembly line and  removing  them from their fixture, turning around 180 degrees and up and into a moving conveyor, for $1.81 per hour,  lifting 10.5 tons of gears per day, I got the check stubs, Henry.  One of the worse jobs I ever had.

Henry, just how many hours, days have you spent on an assembly line.  Same on cleaning, down in a septic tank, working beside a heat furnace mopping up dirty quenching oil. Running a gear cutting machine, working with 15 pound gears with the cutting running around 129 degrees, with on fresh air coming in.  Just what kind of a ***** job did you have.  the Troll

Troll, you make many thoughtful points, but you devalue them by beating up on Henry, because he doesn't subscribe to every aim you do. Why not consider that his experience has not been the same as yours, and attempt to convince him with appropriate examples and logical reasoning, instead of calling him names. For several days I have been simply skipping your posts because you appeared to toss out venom, instead of logic. Today I read a few, and found some reasonable positions, and persuasive supporting statements.

Henry is a good man. A thoughtful man. He can be persuaded with logic, and he is capable of persuading with that same logic. Ad hominem attacks against him just make you look like another flavor of True Believer (the scourge of rational thinking.)

Try presenting the points without the insults. You'll get farther.

This tactic won't work with me, however. Her logical debate consists primarily of sneering "Nuh-uh... you did it first!" Kind of like the flip-side of Ex. (I think they are in love.)

The Troll

Yea I do get carried a way.  He professes  to be a good Christian man, I really don't believe that he even has a heart.  The way he look down on people that he feels are below him.  He gives a little girl who for unknown reason want to be a boy, hell and damnations, quoting the bible.  To me, it is none of his damn business.   No compassion, no heart for the down trodden and poor.  inferring, If you don't have a education like I have you deserve to starve.  No living wage. No health care.  From what I was taught about Jesus, he said the meek will inherit the earth, not him.  For you kind hearted I'll let up on him a little.  I be Mr. Milktoast until he says something real stupid and I bet that don't last to long.

People of the Unknowzone, should I let Henry say anything he wants and not say anything about it.

No he didn't. He said this:

I think it is sad for this little child, and I would probably take the position of the parents and want my child to be happy and I would love her, despite ALL circumstances....no mater what!...

Sooner or later you will learn what the others here have learned. You can't get by with whoppers, because I always check.

Yes, that what he said Lolly, after I called on what he said first.  But who cares what he says.  He constantly writting checks, that his ass can't cash.  I think one day if he has a MAKER, he is going to have a lot to explain about.  And if Jesus come back he is going to be pissed, about what the Taliban Christian have done to this country.

Wrong again, Troll. The passage I quoted was Henry's first post on the thread, and the only post to precede it was the one by Locutus which began the thread. You had not typed your first word yet on the topic. Hence you didn't call him on dipshit, and it was what he first said.

I think this is probably the last time I will bother with you. You do not debate in good faith. You make it up as you go along. Poser.

Won't work, Lolly.

His name says it all.

Do not feed.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.
