Something is foul. How can they possibly know exactly what is going to happen to their hospital based on a bill that hasn't passed? Of course, I assume they may have an ulterior .otive, but I don't imagine hospital management wouldn't stoop to using fear propaganda to coerce the staff into calling their representatives? Nah, that's too far fetched.

Well, Me that's not what I hear from her.  They have told her she has 6months to 1 year to live as thing are going how.  Do you know what really bothers the most.  Her mother can't take the kids because of her health.  She says she cries her eyes out every she thinks about it and that all the time.

  About 46% of the doctors going to quit.  I don't think so.  Where are they going to make $200,000 to 400,000 and up anywhere else.  That like saying, giving  those crooked stock brokers a pay cut, there going to quit.  Where are they going to go.

I say let them quit for cripes sake! I bet half of them at least still have outstanding student loan balances that would make our mortgages look like chump change. They'll soon become residents of the state if they do such a thing. . .

Which hospital? St Johns? That's bull, because their signs say treatment for all regardless of ability to pay. But we all know that is also a bunch of crap too don't we? Their reputation is similar to that of the local butcher, and in fact many say they are in competition with them. . . 

Community? Again, same bull different hospital. (My SIL works there so . . .)

I have a good friend that is a nurse at Ball State Hospital and she has not said anything about such a thing. . .

Truth be known, the only reason any of them are crying is that they are afraid their gravy train is losing its wheels; since the majority of them live off the inflated rates charged to "cash paying" customers, and overcharging of the insurance companies. Their "golden goose" is going to get clipped and they are afraid the jig is up. The ones not squalling are the only honest health care professionals left in the country. . .

I have no clue, unless for some odd reason, this person is lying through her teeth where or what these doctors are planning on doing.  Sounds a little strange to me too but that is what she said when we talked to her today. 

I also had a poor opinion of St. John's until this past year or so since they've been taken over by St. Vincent's in Indy.  They have been wonderful to the friend of ours with the MS.

I'm sure Henry's article is accurate in that some Drs are threatening to quit if it's passed. I'm sure the current system is good to some physicians and so they're not motivated to change. But seriously, quit and do what? Retire on the money they've been bilking the ins co.s for? I'd say there are a limited few that can do that.

Anymore than your friend crying "the sky is falling"? He's the founder of the Charlottesville, VA chapter of the Coffee Party which has formed because of all of the partisian BS causing nothing to be accomplished. That doesn't make his story true, but I like his intention.

I dont' know if his story is true or false and neither do you. So misrepresentation? That's a stretch, because you can't prove it. Your friend? That can be determined w/a well placed phone call.

I like his intention because his intention is to put people in office who will do something besides bicker while "we the people" suffer. What exactly was your friend's intention?
