Have you checked lately to see what kind of shape those countries are in and what their health care is really like?

Henry, every country in the modern free world has health care for it's people.  The U.S.A. is the only country that doesn't.  Don't you think there is some wrong with this picture.  The only people against it is the Republican rich and people like you.  The compassionate one.  I fact old Rush thinks he might go to one.

Sweetheart, we're just as bad off as they are.  In fact a lot of their problem was caused by our crooked stock marketeers selling junk real estate bonds and junk derivatives.

A poll was taken of the people living over there and us.  The people were more satisfied than us.  The Republicans are poisoning our well.  The Troll

You just keep living in your fantasy world.  I'll bet you think Russia is an ideal place to live.

I don't give a ratass what OTHER countries are doing...it is the USA that is STILL the greatest country on this earth...it is the USA, that is developing new drugs, and medical techniques and doing the research that allows us to HAVE the greatest Healthcare that man has ever known...IF, you want this so-called health care that the rest of the free world has, then go!  THE people of this country is NOW exercising it's freedoms, and respecting the constitution, by going through it's due process....there is rallies going on everywhere expressing their opinions on this.....this NOT just a republican thing going on right now....

and Mr. Troll, Lolly asked you a great question, can YOU, provide a source of YOUR poll that the people are MORE  satified than us?....I would LOVE to see that, I'm sure it won't be hard to find...

btw, just for the record, I do not at this time consider myself a republican....I DO, consider myself a conservative, and a very PROUD one at that....

I CAN also provide polls of my own that support MY reasons....

the bottom line for me, I don't really care what europe is doing, it is Americans to decide what is best for Americans...and we will soon see what America has to say....

Henry, get some books out and read.  We rate about  7 or 8 in the standard of living in the world,  yes Henry, 7 or 8th in the world in the standard of living.

Watch some travel loges, they are living a whole lot better than they did just after World War II.

Plus most of our wonder drugs are made overseas so the drug companies can make more money.  The same drugs that sell in Canada and other foreign country for 50% to 75% cheaper than we have to pay.  Read, learn Henry, don't be a wind bag and just blow hot air.

Then provide some evidence or a source to back up your claims then....MAKE  me a believer....if it is THAT evident then a source will be easy to provide, right?

personally, I am very satisfied with this Nation of ours, even with our liberals.. ;D ... when you look at the standard of living you also need to look at the big picture of our freedoms, without gov interference....

maybe it's time for those who want MORE gov control of their lives should move to those places?...this country has been pretty darn good, without socialistic interference for a couple of hundred years....but we are slowly losing more and more freedoms...we got to be careful and not just become lethargic and blindly follow politicians, who think they know waht is best for us....it is STILL our country, NOT the politicians...

When are you ever going to learn the difference between the quality of health care and the quality of the health care delivery system?

The first line from the article you cite ...

"A new CNN  poll finds that more than 80% of Americans are satisfied with the quality of their health care."

Yeah, I love my doctor too. But I hate the damned insurance company!

before you go all dog day afternoon on me.....the point is, Americans are satisfied enough to where they don't want the changes that MAY be attached to this bill....and I say MAY, because even the Speaker of the House is not saying what is in it....

I can say that I am satisfied with paying $2.75 for a gallon of gas....because I don't want to pay $3.50 a gallon....I would rather pay $1.75...we need to get there, but NOT by the means that congress is tyring to do...

How did you feel about paying the $4.00/gallon gas price that the Bush administration brought you? 'Cuz that is what is going to happen to insurance premiums if we don't get a handle on the insurance companies and overall heath care delivery costs.

Bush had NOTHING to do with the High Cost of Gas..........other that the fact, that he did NOT expand our abilities to become independent from foreign oil....which has MORE to do with liberal doings...

I mean, how do they expect you to get uncrazy if you're asleep all the time?

All we are going to see is what the insurance industry has to say through their bought-and-paid-for representatives in Congress.

let's put it this way....I am not super rich, but I love my HC the way it is right now....and I have no problem with a solution to help those who don't....I know there is a problem that needs fixed.

and I do know, that my life is as good as it could get...I have a job, a good family, a place to worship and (for now) freedoms to do what I want......I don't have too much gov control of my life.....

why is it you want more gov control of our lives?......
