BLUEFIELD - A frigid blast of arctic air tightened its grip on the region Monday as falling snow continued to make for difficult driving conditions.

A high of only 19 degrees is expected today following a bitterly cold start to the morning. A winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service continues through 6 a.m. Tuesday. An additional 1 to 3 inches of snow is predicted for today with another 2 to 4 inches of snow possible tonight.

The extended forecast is calling for more bitterly cold air — with a high of only 20 degrees predicted Tuesday and a high of 23 degrees expected for Wednesday.http://www.bdtonline.com/local/local_story_004122418.html  It is COLD here!!!!  feels like 0

You guys can have that crap!   It's cold enough here in Florida for me.

Current temp here in Fort Lauderdale is 51 going down to 36 tonight.  :spooked:

The high temps here are in the low 20's.

Been that way for a week now.

You guys are having a heat wave compared to us. . .  :spooked: Highs in the teens for the last 4-5 days and predicted for the rest of the week.

I'm going out into it to obtain fuel for my secondary heating devices. . .

  Hi Palehorse,  good to see you too.  I have been out of touch.  It is snowing here again.  I love the snow, but enough is enough!  Between the cold and the snow....I feel like a Polar Bear!

followsthewolf

Nah.

Polar bears aren't nearly as sensitive to the snow.

  Maybe an iguana then.  I heard on the news where there blood was freezing and they were just falling out of trees.  That would be me.  Give me sunshine anytime over the cold.

Locutus

They are freezing.  A lot of people are saying good riddance to them.  They're a nuisance pest in some areas here in South Florida.

They are so cute though! :icon_twisted:  I had a friend in Daytona who was sitting out drinking a drink and there was a lizar in her drink looking up at her. :o  I would have lost it.  between the Palametto bugs and the lizards, I don't think I could handle living in FL.
