You're so cute when you try to get stern and all, but try to keep up. His response was incomplete. I asked what her qualifications are, not a list of her job experience.

I refuse to repeat my answer until one of you put some thought into yours.

You asked one question and it was answered.  Now answer Henry's question don't ask even more since you didn't like the answer. Makes it appear that you're avoiding the question.

Now me I know your the tailgunner for the Hawk :chick:  But damn, a tailgunner for a Kamikaza pilot.  You know damn well the Hawk :chick: doesn't give answers when you pin him down.  Sandy your wasting your time.

Hate to say it but there is no squirming here.  What are qualifications if not job experiences?  You are avoiding the question asked of you is all and not a good job of it at that.  When you fill out a resume what do you put on it if not past jobs?

When I was a kid, I worked for a tight ass farmer.  He had me shovel shit in the chicken house.  He had me shovel shit in the cow tramp shed and he shoveled shit out of the hog houses.

That should have been one hell of a resume for you defunk business.  Right, shoveling shit for "ME"  You can see at an early age I had a shitty out look on life from working for a cheap ass Republican farme.

I have a little time to kill and thought I'd do an experience comparison.

In 1992:

Obama was teaching constitutional law at the University of Chicago and became the director of Illinois Project Vote. (a POTUS should be well versed in the constitution of the US so that's a direct fit and the right to vote and encouragement of that right is a good start).

Palin won a seat on Wasilla City council. Population taken from the census  was 5500. (hummmm not seeing connecting federal experience). Perhaps "me" or Henry can help us w/that one.

1996:

Obama elected to the Illinois state senate. Population taken from the 1995 census was 11.8 million people. For those who can't see how this would be related to duties in the office of the POTUS, the purpose of the state legislature: "As a legislative branch of government, a legislature generally performs the same duties for a state that Congress performs at the Federal level, and as a general rule, the same system of checks and balances that exists at the Federal level also exists between the state legislature, the state executive officer (a governor) and the state judiciary, though the degree to which this is so varies from one state to the next." (seems like relevent experience to me).

Palin became mayor of Wasilla. Population based ont he census was about 5500. As mayor she made decisions which impacted these residents and not much more. The population of Anderson, Indiana is about 10X larger than that. Would your mayor be qualified as a POTUS? (Help us out here Henry and "me" - how is this qualifying?)

1998

Obama reelected to State Senate
Palin still mayor

2002

Obama reelected to State Senate
Palin completes mayoral career (served two terms reelected in 1999); Loses race as lieutenant governor.

2003:

Obama becomes chairman of the Illinois Senate's Health and Human Services Committee and formally places bid for the U.S. Senate.

Palin served as Chairperson of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission which due to frustration she resigned from after 11 months. (foreshadowing? )

2004:

Obama is elected as a US Senator.

2006:

Palin became Governor of the state of Alaska.

2007:
Obama announces his candidacy for POTUS.

2008:
Palin joins the GOP ticket as a Vice President hopeful

Obama elected POTUS

2009

Obama still serving as POTUS
Palin resigns as governor of Alaska ( a pattern?)

http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2008/08/29/us/politics/20080829_PALIN_TIMELINE.html

Now, it appears to me that Obama has more experience directly related to the duties of a president of the United States. He is familiar with the policies, laws, regulations and interrelationships of the branches of government. I don't see the same experience from Palin. If she has it, then please point it out and explain how it's directly related.

I thought she was the owner of a car wash, but upon investigation, I see that she was actually a owner of a snowmobile, watercraft and all-terrain vehicle business. I'm still interested to know what the nexus between owning a small business and the office of POTUS is.

When you rush to his rescue, you both appear to be squirming.

I wouldn't expect you to know the difference, but there is one. For example, the difference between a mayor of Podunk Utah and New York, NY is vastly different. A small business owner who owns AND operates a local family chain is vastly different than a business owner who only has his/her name on the paper.

I didn't expect you and Henry to understand why your response was incomplete so I did the homework for you ^. Now explain to me 1)How her experience is directly related to the duties of the position of POTUS and 2) makes her more qualified than Obama.

How's about certifications and accomplishments?

When I search a resume I'm looking for certifications and accomplishments. A laundry list of past jobs is a waste of paper and ink, particularly if you bailed on them before the job was complete. Ms. Palin's resume shows a job-hopper with no commitment to any task.

No you didn't. You offered up the same sheep-like comments of your herd ... comments which have been proven time and again to be false.

only by your biased, sheep leading media....SHE did  pass a bill and laid out the frame work for 36,000 miles of pipeline...bringing millions of $$$ economic growth to her state....she governed with strong conservative priorities, she led a crusade on ethic reforms in Alaska...she cut spending...she is pro business and pro developments...she ran a commercial fish business with her husband....and she spent 10 years as a Mayor.....she served on the Alaskan Oil and Gas Conservation Commision...everything I said, IS a fact, and ALL, give her some credability in leadership, and more so, than a punk senator (for less than 200 days, before he made a move for the potus)....I know you don't like her, but with that tunnel-vision the left usually has, you cannot make a formed opinion outside of what you have been told all of your life....

Hank, the executive branch (that's the governor at the state level) cannot enact legislation.

I haven't spun anything. Those are the facts about her experience as Henry stated it.  I'm waiting for Henry to fully answer the question. If that experience is qualifying then it should be easy to explain why. Although I don't really think it is, for either of you, otherwise you wouldn't be swooping in to save Henry's arse.

first of all, I don't need my "arse" (take a stand and say ASS)...saved....YOU, aske me a question, and I answered exactly to the fullest extent, and gave you qualifications....NOW, it can be argued about what is a qualification, but I gave you some reasons....with THAT said, Palin is STILL not what I consider to be "MY" conservative choice as POTUS...but she STILL is MORE qualified than BHO....and you HAVE spun more than an old maytag...big f'ing deal that O was a lawyer....we ALL know how trustworthy lawyers can be...and being a life time politician does not give me the warm and fuzzy feeling of getting someone who knows how to do what is best for a Country....I would much rather have a person who understands the tribulations of being a real citizen, someone who has personaly ran their own business, someone who has dealt with real issues and fixed them.....I am NOT impressed with Obama's experience nor am I pleased with how he has dealt with issues since becoming POTUS.

You can provide them with the information, Sandy, but they have to want to learn.  Some people prefer to wallow in their own ignorance.

I realize that, my point was she LED, to the passing of this bill...she helped layout the frame work, and encouraged others that it was a good measure to take for the economy of the State...

Henry, I used to think that maybe you didn't understand the question, but now I'm thinking you're just being dishonest.

I not only answered your question, but I clearly outlined Obama's experience and how it might relate to the duties of POTUS. All you've said is that she has a work history. Now how about explaining why it's significant and how it makes her more qualified than Obama.

(I know, Ex. I'd have more respect for him if he were simply honest about his thoughts and called Obama an "uppity Negro")
