so did george w bush.....twice....

And look what it got us.  A start of Herbert Hoover depression.  This depression started in the crooked stock market and crooked banks and Old George W. and his crooked Republican party started again with a crooked stock market and crooked banks.  Republicans, theives and depression are all the same name, same group.   You voted for George W. twice and and John McCain and Sara Palin for vice president a heart beat from the presidency.

And  you just can't see it.  There is no hope for you.

Read the answers to your questions, Sandy, and then ask yourself, "is there any real point continuing with this conversation?"

I did and there isn't, but I knew that going in. I just find it amusing to watch Henry talk out both sides of his mouth sometimes. It's interesting in a way.

So, she doesn't have any qualifications. There's nothing about her that would indicate that she has anything substantial to offer, especially her failed governorship. Yet he'd vote for her over a former U.S. Senator, who successfully served 3 terms and who's currently performing the duties of the position. Quite telling, huh?

What makes a community organizer more experienced than someone who has been a business owner, worked in the private sector, been a mayor and a governor?

Oh, leave Palin out of the mix here just answer the question.

Why are you conveniently ignoring the fact that he was a successful 3 term US senator?

If not Palin, then who are you talking about? The answer to that question is important to getting an accurate response to your question. But off the cuff, I'd ask, was the person in question able to complete his/her term as governor? How successful was this mayor in office? Hopefully more successful than this one: http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1837918,00.html Oh and town size would be important. For example, if someone were a community activist in a major city like say...oh Chicago...compared to a small town w/the population of about 5500 like this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasilla,_Alaska then I'd think that person who is accustomed to dealing w/larger numbers of peple and getting results has more experience.  Lastly, I'd ask how owning a business would be significant. Running a small business and the country are two vastly different things.

And most of that time in the senate he was absent IIRC.  What was his record in the senate?  How often was he there for key votes?  What bills did he sponsor or introduce?

Now your turn. What is Palin's record? How often was she influencial on key votes? How familiar is she with the branches of government and their roles? How familar is she with federal policy?

Let's go back and review the Katie Couric interview.

Maybe we'll finally find out what newspaper she actually reads -- if she does.

And that would have what to do with anything.  Obama reads the Huffington News.

I dare you to prove that, because it is a lie.

Obama served three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. Following an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he first ran for United States Senate in 2004.

And that is why we should care about who and what Obama is and has done.  He is president and we know very little about him.  Why does no one see a problem with that?
