Based on the fact that you seem convinced of that, she's "smart" so she's ticking people off;  I think it's safe to assume that people who are smarter than you, tick you off, Henry.

It doesn't work that way for me.

I didn't say she was smart....just smart enough to piss you guys off.......take it how EVER you want.... ;)

Of course they do; look at his signature line.  If your an intellectual, you're 'elite'...like either is a bad thing.

Well, they obviously think that no one outside of their little clique is smart enough to run their own lives and make their own decisions so, IMO, they think they are superior to all of us and that includes you.  Soooo in this case I would say, yes, intellectual elitism is a bad thing.

boy, you got that ALL wrong....James Madison wasn't saying that if you are intellectual, you're 'elite'....he said that we either believe that Americans know what is best for each of our lives OR, we let a small group of self titled intellectuals decide what is best for ALL of us....and ALL of those who fought and died for our rights, die in vain.....THAT is what is meant by that signature line that I found inspiring....

And in a lot of ways, they're right.

And in a lot of ways, they're right.
But they are wrong to try to do it for everyone.  What is right for one is not necessarily right for another and you can't lump us all into the same category as bad as they are wanting to.  We are not robots and do not need to be treated as such.  I prefer to have a choice in things and if I chose wrong that's my problem and no one elses.

BTW, your buddy Henry opened this door. Talk about lumping everyone into one category. He seems to think that someone's intellect ticks people off. That doesn't apply to me, so apparently he's speaking from experience.

I MUST be right, because YOU didn't understand a simple quote.....OR, you are just doing what the left has become so very good at, and that is "spinning" issues to fit your arguement....which is it?
