Try to imagine her in the midst of a meeting of world leaders.......and remember that she would be representing the United States from the perspective that she would have been elected.

Would you feel confident that she is representing you?

more so than who is currently representing me.....

....The popularity of reality programming proves that to be true IMO. She's not a step above that.

Sandy, I believe you are on to something here. Historically, in hard times, entertainment of any kind is in high demand. Look at the movie business during the thirties. Due to the writer's strike awhile back, television fielded a lot of "reality" shows. Evidently we will watch anything for escape, so these lame programs did well. The studios discovered how very, very cprofitable it is to put something on the tube which does not require writers, actors or sets, so mindless reality TV is still the bulk of prime time scheduling.

Consequently, the public now is willing to accept any form of entertainment which has no logical cohesion, so long as it's noisy ... and goofy. Hence, we get Moose-Hunter Barbie as a new icon.

I know there are some who believe she is an ELF, or at least ELF-controlled. But the president, chief writer and high priest of the PPDC (my best friend Morgan) disputes this view. He says ELFs would not use anyone so attention-hungry. And they have better taste.

There is only one party; republodem.  One party, two wings; right and left.  They do the same shit, just say they are different as the lying liars they are.  The teabaggers, so far, are just a bunch of white trash pissed a negro is in charge.  If they are really against big gov't, where were they when shrub was growing gov't control and spending like no one before him?  The teabagging trailer trash have no credibility on anything which couldn't be illustrated more than having failin palin on their side.

Dan, we have about 34% of the voters who will only vote Republican.  If we can get a third party which is a bunch of rightwingnuts, Taliban Republicans who can grab about one half of those crazy  people. The Democrats can win any election with 34% of the vote.  The moderate Republican is practically gone.  The Republican Party that I use to know is gone and good party members are letting it happer.  GOOD!   :tiphat:

I have a friend who I work with many years.  A hard headed born again Christian and was a die hard Republican.  After 8 years of George Bush,  he claims that he's an Independent and he won't vote Republican.  I asked, does that mean your going to vote Democratic.  He said, no, because the Democrats are for abortion and gay marriage.  So, go figure.  He nuts.                                    :pink:  :pink:  :pink:  :pink: :fireworks:  :fireworks:  :fireworks:  :preach:  :preach:

Would you mind explaining that part I bolded.  How can the dem's win with only 34%?
Trump 2020

The Troll

  The Teaparty get 33%,  The Republicans get 33%.  33% + 33% = 66%.

The Democrats get 34% which is the highest number in a three party race.  33% or 34%   If you look very close, that 1% makes the Democrats the Winner.  :salute:

That's the thing...there are more than two parties. The shame of it is that they aren't taken seriously, aren't given the same exposure or even an opportunity in the debates.

If more people paid attention and actually voted for the best candidate and ignored political party affiliation, then the American people could possibly send a message to the two most popular that they need to step it up or they'll be replaced.

Clinton won b/c he was a better candidate than Bush Senior.

maybe he was or maybe he wasn't, but if you take Ross Perot out of the picture and I think there would NOT have ever been a President Clinton...imo
