...San Francisco, California. It sounds sooooooooooo cute coming out of his mouth in his baby voice.

It sounds pretty neat from his descriptions. Long black stoplights..and Ah Man! A blue long balloon!

Last night, while sleeping in the truck on US 50 in Nevada (read: NOTHING around) he says aliens came up to the truck and were scratching on the window, but Tom and Jerry (yeah, the cartoon) kept him safe! LOL

He is seeing "Bol-canos" and airplanes, helicopters, and a BIG airplane sign!

I wish I'd gotten to travel like that as a kid. I've never been out west.

I would worry, my baby so far from home. I worry when she is with Scott, only 4 blocks away.  :(

I don't know what the weather is like up there, but here it's getting really cold at night. Our temps are expected to drop to the 20's tonight. burrrrrr LOL Everyone is freaking about and I'm actually enjoying it..no snow, but...it's feelin' more like Christmas. I haven't been to San Francisco yet (quite a drive from here), but I think I'll venture up that way maybe this spring...just to be a tourist. Have you ever traveled w/your husband in the truck?

I have but never too far. Usually I don't get to go because no one can keep the kids that long. I went on little runs when I was pregnant with AJ, about 5 years ago, but nothing very far. I've been to Chicago, Detroit (thanks to Pari!), and a few places in Ohio like Lima, Dayton, and Cincinnatti, but that's it for my truck travels.

I am a little bit of concern for them, since their way back isn't going to be fun with the snow storms I'm hearing about. I know they have chains for the tires and a fridge full of food, but you still can't help but worry.

HEY!! if you need another break, a trip on the road with him...I'll do it again for you.  Especially now that itty bitty is home. She would have a blast playing with the boys. :)

He's doing all loads out to the west coast. His turnaround time, at best, is six days. Could be 7 if weather is like its going to be right now. (He left Saturday evening, and by all normal weather situations would have been home Friday, but it will probably be Saturday this time.) You wouldn't want them THAT long, would you? I'd die to see the stuff he's seeing right now, but I've just kind of accepted the fact that it probably won't ever happen.

Speaking of babysitting...let me know if you find out 17's schedule today.

Well, their upkeep for that long might be more than you would want to shell out!! LOL I was thinking a couple of days at best.

She is scheduled to work saturday night..would you like to try 15?

Sure. I know that Aaron is really looking forward to his birthday again...he never used to look forward to it, but I showed him last year that it could be fun and now he's addicted. LOL
