Okay. . . I have just cracked a bit of the ice and I need to get some time to look closer at this.

But on the surface it appears the city of Anderson has received millions from the stimulus fund and to date has done ZERO with it!

Okay. How many millions have we been granted to create/save jobs and actually only have seen 12 jobs created or saved????  :icon_evil: :icon_evil: :icon_evil: :icon_evil: :icon_evil:

Where is this friggin money being spent, or is it??? Where is it going??? Why are we not asking about this ???

Source: recovery.gov

Not to mention the money accepted by the city of anderson to hire more cops. . .
Must need them to drive that new equipment around, walk the K-9's, and train each other how to use the 40mm multi-launchers against the citizens of this city when they revolt against the crooks leading us to hell in a handbasket!

That's just the stuff posted on recovery.gov so far. . .

Okay lets do some simple math here. Just in the above expenditures we have passed out roughly 20,000,000 dollars to save/create a grand total of 12 (twelve) jobs. That comes out to a cost of $1,666,666.67 per job! Nice rate of return! Using that average we'll be needing another 50 billion or so to provide jobs for everyone in this city that doesn't have one.

Just who's responsibility is it to track where these funds are going at the local level?Anyones? Are these funds being expended on their intended targets or is there some special accounting transfers being utilized to shift the funds toward other uses? Is there going to be any public accounting / audit of these funds and expenditures?

That $1,673.019 targeted for new law enforcement equipment came in handy I'll bet. Imagine what our tax bills would have been if they had not received that money to obtain the new equipment! (Not that I am not thankful for the job our law enforcement officers do around here, because I am very thankful for it. But are they really getting this stuff?)

And who decides who's homes get insulated out of the $438,192.00 designated for this? Will it ever be done or will we wait until they are found as human popsicles this winter, have the city seize their property for taxes due, then insulate them and sell them off to the highest bidder?

And thank heaven for the extra $11 million + our school system has received. Jeeze, given they have all that money don't yah think our tax bills would have seen a reduction? Man, imagine if they had not received all that money!

Yes, I am being sarcastic. But I am serious in asking just where in the heck all this money is being spent! 12 total jobs saved/created for 20 million dollars.

No wonder the only places to get work in this city are slinging hash, answering phones, or running the gauntlet of testing and interviews necessary to even be considered for work at Nestle. . . Cripes!

One has to wonder just where all this money is going, and into what pockets?????

In stark contrast check out this entry:

Noblesville, City of - $3,463,097.00

Jobs created/saved - 14 ($247,364.07 per job)

PH I'm sorry but I just have to say this.  This is exactly what the "tea bagger's" are all about, wanting to know where all this money is going.  They were tagged as a bunch of racist hate mongers by the main stream media for just wanting to ask these very questions.

Bullcrap. The teabaggers are about saving the rich from taxation at rates us poor folks are forced to endure! They are nothing but the rich mans puppet.

We've spent a trillion on the war for oil and what has that brought us? Higher gasoline and fuel prices is all!

They are trying to save us from the tax hikes and the more affluent from being taxed out of existence and not being able to keep their business to keep people working or having to raise prices so we can't afford their product which also keeps people working to provide that product.  Let's see now, they raise the tax's on the people who are providing the jobs so those people lay off to make up the difference.....so they are no longer paying into the system but drawing from it instead..........well, gosh they don't need as many supplies now so darn there go some more jobs because the suppliers now have less demand for their product.....some more lose jobs......hum, well now there are more people drawing from instead of contributing......hum, well, now people can't buy certain items because they aren't working........hum, more job losses........Are you seeing a pattern here?  Probably not.  Trickle up don't work 'cause water don't run uphill.
