I believe she stated she wasn't allowed to discuss the settlement because it was a confidential agreement and I think she handled it rather well under the circumstances.  He should not have continued to press her for an answer.  Did you see the tape?  Has anyone seen a tape?  Can you prove one even exists?

Yes, she's probably going to a photo-shoot for a skin mag. . .

She did state that, but she wasn't being asked to discuss the settlement.  Perhaps you'd best listen to it again.

Puleeeze!  Read above.  She wasn't being asked to discuss the terms of the settlement, nor was she being asked anything that would have caused her to be in violation of the confidentiality of the settlement.

The tape exists.  The website TMZ (in amazing deference for such a hard hitting site) agreed not to make it public out of consideration for her.  That's how graphic it was.

Some of you people seem to wander around with blinders on.

Oh c'mon HH!  Stop with the persecuted and hated Christians line.  I don't hate Christians.  I hate people who use their religious beliefs as grounds for justification for discrimination against others all while having their own lil' sexual skeletons in the closet.  This list doesn't just stop with Prejean.  Ted Haggart ring a bell?

She's only going places with people who buy into the bullshit that she's somehow being persecuted for her religious beliefs.  You want me to shut up about Christians?  Then let all the Christians STFU about how other people should live their lives, stop advocating discrimination, turn their attention to some introspection, and clean up their own acts first.  SO MANY of these outspoken Christian assholes who are running around telling everyone else how to live are guilty themselves of some depravity in their own lives.  And yes, that part, I do hate.

She was being asked why she settled and that would have been discussing the settlement and she stated that she could not discuss it.  He should have dropped it period. You don't know what was in the settlement so you can't possibly know if that would have been in violation of the terms.

Swing 'an 'a miss!  Wrong.

Discussion of why she settled is in no way a violation of the confidentiality of the terms of the settlement.

Maybe you should be watching more of your own favorite disinformation news source.  Here she is openly discussing the tape with her bud Sean Hannity (who just so happened to write the forward for her book).  She just didn't like it because it was Larry King, and not the confines of a comfy and close ally such as Shamnity who she knew wouldn't take her out of her comfort level.

You're wrong, me. As the recipient of a similar gag order following a hefty settlement on a sexual battery case, I can tell you that the ban is against discussing terms and amounts, not the reasons for the lawsuit. "What" is banned, not "why."

I really don't care one way or the other I'm just sick of the double standard which seems to be running amok.  All conservatives and Republicans, or for that matter even the Dems and liberals who agree with them, are vilified and crucified at every turn but the little sheeples with the rings in their noses who blindly follow the all mighty one can do no wrong and are only being misunderstood or unfairly picked on and misjudged.

Oddly enough, I agree with you on this point. It cuts both ways.

Like I said, it just don't really matter.  What matters is that if she had been a Dem ya'll would have been screaming like and eagle about how he was wrong to have even brought it up and been excusing her all over the place.

I don't believe her political affiliation has ever been made public. Is she even registered to vote?

It hasn't but she didn't follow the rules with her answer she dared to have her own opinion.

Not true had said Dem espoused the same attitude that Prejean did.  Here's 'jes a lil' clue for ya'.

It isn't the Dems who are running around acting holier than thou, attempting to pander to the religious right, and attempting to legislate morality and discrimination while being guilty of their own depravities.

Here's an example:  Larry Craig the senator is the kind of person who drives people like Larry Craig the man into the bathroom stall.

If the difference continues to escape you, you're simply beyond hope.
